re: Trying to be objective...is O really a bad decision? - Javzz
So none of O's positives are, you know, quantifiable?? O has an impressive list of mentors, but not one gave a shot at coordinating a defense?? How did he demonstrate he learned from any mistakes?? He walked into situations in which he was set up to succeed.. and in both situations that's objecti...

re: O being coordinator dependent may not be a bad thing. - Javzz
If O actually is successful do you think he'll continue to accept a lower salary? We'll also have to depend a guy who has no past history of successful coordinator and coaching hires...

re: Comparing CEOs Record to Les - Javzz
What is your age and experience? That was a long time ago under completely different circumstances and experience levels. All that matters for Coach O is the USC and LSU experience an Interim. If you want to compare him to Les, this is your starting point, and then you should give considerati...

re: Comparing CEOs Record to Les - Javzz
O is an improvement over Les. Recruiting won't suffer. O will actually install a modern offense and give the OC the freedom to run it. If O can learn to manage the game, clock and how to keep focus, manage distractions he will have to chance to be exceptional.
When has O ever insta...

re: #TheBinder has been revealed - Javzz
Using his resources?? A radio host in which the two together didn't have the attention to detail to realize putting an assistant with 2 months experience on the fricking presentation you're pitching to a potential boss to get hired?? What in the frick could Derek Ponamsky know about building a pote...

re: Morris Claiborne and why coaches don't automatically deserve respect - Javzz
I've never felt coaches in general are that intelligent. There's a few that are and it shows in their success versus their peers. It's an industry that only hires from people that actually played football for the most part and then rehires retreads over and over even though their incompetency is...

re: Etling is better.. but is his arm weak? - Javzz
I agree with that. That throw was very Jarrett Lee-ish. But Etling for the most part has shown some pretty good pocket mobility/feel that he shouldn't be throwing those back foot throws that often....

re: Etling is better.. but is his arm weak? - Javzz
the frick game you watch Saturday......that pass to chark in the end zone.....that's more than enough strength you probably suck to hang out with
Deep balls are a terrible judge of arm strength. Anthony Jennings throws a beautiful deep ball, but the majority of his throws didn't...

re: SCUBA DIVERS make yourselves known - Javzz
Been OW certified since 2014. Probably have 10 dives logged since. Have done Belize, Oahu, Cancun, Florida Keys. Actually went on first bad dive I'd been on since I'd been certified. Let go of rope too early and got caught in a pretty strong current and was getting pushed away from the group. As ...

re: Heading to Oahu Hawaii for Thanksgiving. - Javzz
You've been to Oahu twice or Hawaii?? Well start off with props on getting the frick out of Honololu. Oahu has a bunch of pretty neat/serious(dangerous) hiking trails that aren't well advertised. ...

re: What would you do for 3 days if you were already in Argentina? - Javzz
Not sure about anything of the others.. But chile will run you an extra ~$200 on an entry free. But with that time period I might go to Atacama Desert. High high high on my bucket list...

re: One small comment on the 2011 defense and this defense - Javzz
Brockers was our 2nd or 3rd best player on that D.. And that SEC championship is the most dominant lineman game any lsu has had in the last 10 years. In the Bama natty game Brockers was pretty much the reason we stayed in the game throughout. If Brockers would have come back for his jr year I'm pret...

Favorite places in the world?? - Javzz
Don't think there's a thread like this.. Was just looking through some old picture albums and was trying to make a list for myself My number 1 by far would be Easter Island. Spent about a week there in 2013 by myself at a campground and was by far the most rewarding travel experience I've had. S...

re: Mr. Robot Season 2 Thread: Finale Part 1 (9/14 on USA) - Javzz
Why would you not want to see Elliot?
I know Elliot's mental psyche and inner battle is main focus of the plot. It had just gotten to me to be uninteresting and exhausting. One step forward and two steps backwards type of thing. ...

re: For a huge Harry Potter fan, is the new "book" - Javzz
It was fun for the nostalgia alone. I thought the first half was okay. Thought the second half was awful. A lot of the characters actions didn't make sense, both in the time of the book and the in-between 19 years. Probably the sloppiest execution of time travel timelines I've ever seen. ...

re: Anyone ever been to New Zealand? - Javzz
I did South Island. There was some things I'd like to see on the North Island, but I only had 12 days or so and didn't want to stretch my time too much. I think I did Queenstown-Wanaka-Milford Sound-Fox Glacier-West Coast. My favorite thing I did was canyoneering out of Wanaka. It was fricking int...
