Casey Hill said yesterday the plan is to give E.J., Hawkins, Dyson, Seabron and Karlo a lot of run in Las Vegas: "They are going to play every game. They are going to play the majority of the minutes."

Excited for all the guys, really want to see Robbins though.

I know everyone wants to see Dyson's shooting and his finishing at the rim but I really want to see Dyson command of the offense today. He has a really good set of shooters and athletic bigs to really showcase his passing ability, decision making, and vision.

I think Hawkins is going to surprise people today with his athleticism. People seem to undersell it as a prospect.

Hawkins is going to be a steal in this draft. He is a perfect player to have on any team for todays nba.

I'm just happy to be watching the Pels. I expect Dyson to play well, but I am really excited for EJ and Hawkins.

I just want to see Hawkins take as many 3's as possible and EJ stay healthy.

All of the other shite doesn't matter. Dyson running a watered down version of an offense with a bunch of dudes who will end up in Birmingham, Austin or China doesn't mean anything in terms of him being able to run an actual NBA offense.

Dyson making mature, calm decisions absolutely matters. If he can’t do it here he’ll be doing it in Birmingham

So I’m absolutely wanting Dyson to play well and orchestrate the offense

Do you know what channel? Looks like NBATV has a summer league broadcast starting at 3:00 and ESPNU has one starting at 3:30 Its probably one of these, but they don't specify teams.

I feel like it will kind of matter how Dyson looks. He has enough around him not to look like garbage running the offense imo.

Kira looked like absolute dogshit in year 2 of SL while a guy like Naji thrived w the same group of teammates.

So SL play can translate. If a guy looks overly uncomfortable and timid in SL, they generally look bad in an NBA game as well.

Dyson will be playing with rotational guys like Hawkins and Liddell. And if we end up signing Matkovic, that'll be another guy.

I expect to see some favorable actions/plays off these guys that will be utilized in the regular season. Hill already said Dyson, Liddell, Hawkins, Matkovic, and Seabron will be playing the majority of minutes during the duration of the games. So they'll be playing together for the most part.

Sure, my point was more about if Dyson looks like a point god in summer league, it doesn't mean much in terms of him becoming a true rotational guy in the NBA.

Besides, we already know he can pass with the best of them, the biggest issue is that he is timid as frick to shoot and finish his drives, even if he does shoot in summer league, I'm not sure that means he'll necessarily have the confidence to shoot when he's in an NBA game.

Guess we should just have no hope for him then….what’s the point of watching the game now….guess I’ll take a stroll.

Wow, you took quite a leap there.

Never said to give up on him, just that we'll learn more about Dyson in the preseason than we will in summer league.

Can they go ahead and put the regular season games on pelicans.com? I still cringe at the thought of giving Ballys $20 a month this year.

I’d be perfectly honest with you. I’m not exacting Hawkins to be a perennial all star or anything like that. I just want him to be a good shooter off the bench that can play decent defense. That’s more than enough to me.

At worst, I’m just hoping for health.

IIRC, Zion, Dyson and EJ all suffered some sort of injury in the SL years that made them miss most, if not all of the rest of their games.
