Wow. AA in a race to the bottom. AS consistently in the top is no surprise.

That chart reflects my experiences and why I just requested the status match to Delta two hours ago from American. Four days later I still don't have my bags (again) and no one knows how to fill out this Passenger Property Questionnaire (PPQ) so I can get a refund.

I thought with AA's rebranding campaign they'd follow in Delta's footsteps and make big strides

No. That just meant them devaluing their loyalty program like Delta. Nothing good came of it

As a rule, I never fly American unless absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, they are sometimes the only option when going out west, and I took them a couple of months ago from MSY to DFW to a small town in CO. Of course, history held true and my flight was canceled at 10pm the night before the 6:30AM flight due to "crew rest". F that airline.

Love flying Alaska Airlines and used to do it often back and forth to Alaska. Great experience. Thier acquisition of Virgin only helps their brand. It's great to be a shareholder as of late!

You must be in south or west Texas because that's pretty much Delta's only coverage gap across the entire country.

I rarely fly American, due to bad experiences, but damn... I'm glad I don't have to deal with their BS often. Last flight with them was 8hrs with a broken tv screen and a broken seat back that felt like a broken down cardboard box. Of course, they didn't care at all.

Alaska lost my luggage once.

But that really had more to do with the dipshits at MSY.

West Texas...got SW to DAL or LAS, UA to DEN or IAH, and AA to DFW.

Alaska on time pctg. Is remarkable when you consider some of their routes.

So you would like your flight crew to fly without proper rest?

Damn them and thinking about your safety.

No. Either fly more planes or hire more crew to reduce IRROPs that cause these conflicts in the first place. There is a reason why Delta/Alaska face fewer of these issues and some other airlines face them more frequently. Reason why Spirit is always late is due to smaller fleet for example. That is what you get with LCCs. Full service airlines place huge value into getting people where they need to be on schedule. This is not the top priority for every airline though depending on their business model.

I work in the airline industry. I know about having more aircraft/crew to offset that problem.

However the crying that the poster was talking about is on the same line as passengers complaining about delays due to weather.
