So I cut the cord, do I have to live with 2 remotes for each tv now?

I have an amazon fire tv for each tv, is there an all in one remote that can do the amazon fire tv and operate the volume controls?

I'm the same way, but with Apple TV. Unfortunately I have no answer, but curious if anyone else figured this out yet.

No.
You can either get a remote like the harmony, which will work with damn near everything under the sun, or you can see if your TV has HDMI-CEC which basically allows you to control the device with your TV remote via HDMI.

I personally wound up turning off HDMI-CEC but some people like it.

I use the Harmony Smart Control remote and hub. It was the cheapest option I could find with Bluetooth, which is required for Fire TV. Works well.

I have the Peel device and use an old iPhone as a remote for everything.

This. Got it running through my harmony remote though. Definitely a great buy for $40.

I use a harmony in my living room with my FireTV and I love it. In my bedroom I didn't want to pay for another Harmony so I just turned on CEC. With AppleTV it works great. Unless I want to change inputs I don't have to use my TV remote. Clicking a button on the Apple remote will turn my tv on and put it on the input for apple tv. The +/- buttons work for my volume. Putting the AppleTV to sleep using the AppleTV remote turns my tv off. Pretty slick.

When I had only my Apple TV hooked to mine the remote for the ATV was all I needed. It would turn on the TV and adjust the volume. If you'll be using more than the Apple TV you're probably going to be diving into one of the Harmony remotes.

I got this for the bedroom tv but I don't think it works with the voice remote.

ETA:

It's an old Vizio TV that does not have CEC.

I discovered the other day that my remote for my samsung smart TV somehow has the ability to control my firebox. So I don't have to use 2 remotes.

Best option I found to keep everything on one remote is the side click thing that attaches to the fire tv remote. So far so good.

I use my phone, can control almost anything.

every time I go somewhere with a TV unattended i program it in.
It controls my firesticks, my audio and my TV, S remote on my Galaxy ( I think most phones have IR capability and the firestick remote is an app)
though some newer cable boxes are RF remote only and I don't know about that.

My ATV4 remote turns on/off my TV through HDMI-CEC. Sometimes it doesn't turn it on right away. My 4 year old taught me just to wait a couple seconds and press the on a bunch and it always turns on. I used Apple's settings to have the volume on ATV4 remote control the volume on the soundbar. The optical input from the TV to soundbar turns the soundbar off and on. Beautiful tiny remote to control 3 things.
