re: AT&T Gigabit - St. Tammany and Jefferson Parish - WavinWilly
I'll probably switch from cox as I pay $70 a month for slow arse Internet
I'm very conflicted. I want the GB speeds, but with Charter I have no data cap. I'm using Vue and my data usage is sitting right at a TB for this month so far and we have a week left....

Vermillion has a fantastic Kodi guide. I'd follow that. I bought mine to drop DirecTV for Vue. Very happy with my decision. Can't think of a channel I'm missing and I'm saving $100/month...

re: Best site for IT/netadmin type jobs in Baton Rouge? - WavinWilly
Dice is a decent website, but I'd get a recruiter. I'm in New Olreans and am regularly contacted by recruiters for jobs that as far as I can tell are not listed yet....

re: New Railgun Footage - WavinWilly
I wonder if they can encase self propelled rounds inside of that casing that appears in the video. Maybe a round with a small amount of propellant and a radio so it can be directed at a fast moving target, like a fighter....

re: Thoughts on Eero WiFi system? - WavinWilly
I am still not convinced it is true full duplex system since we are still talking about taking over the same wireless spectrum. So collisions are still going to be an issue. Unless of course they are using the 2.4ghz spectrum for transmit and 5ghz for receive.
I suspect they are us...

re: Thoughts on Eero WiFi system? - WavinWilly
That being said the two radio claim seems like a marketing gimmick. The spectrum and standard determine your available "speed". There are only so many lanes on the highway so adding another radio is not going to help, actually seems like it would complicate things. Current radios on high en...

re: Linking DirecTV & AT&T Accounts - WavinWilly
I had a giant host of billing problems. I would highly recommend against it. Shortly after my cell phone got rolled into my work plan and I cancelled DTV for PS Vue. So hopefully I'm all done with that mess. The cost was the biggest factor in going to Vue, but the billing problems sure didn't d...
