re: Anybody use the Draft Wizard from Fantasy Pros to track a live draft? - nolatiger711
It will also give the chance of players being drafted before your next pick based on other teams' needs. For example, it will show the next 15 receivers will probably be gone by your next pick, so grab one now and grab the RB after everyone runs WR. ...

re: Driving with hazard lights on - nolatiger711
I almost hit a car in front of me the other day because he had his hazard lights on. His brake lights never lit up because the hazards were on. Good thing I was at a safe enough distance to slow down once I realized he was actually slamming on his brakes. ...

Privacy Screens Recommendations - nolatiger711
I need to get a privacy screen for my 13" MacBook Air. All the screens I find use double sided tape to make it relatively permanent or tabs on the edge of the screen. I want it to be removed most of the time, so I hate the idea of ugly plastic tabs overlapping my screen 24/7. I heard someone...

re: The best school district in NOLA - nolatiger711
So you think the perceived value of teachers as A- compared to B+ is more valuable than a quarter of the students not reading on grade level compared to pretty much the whole school reading at least one grade level above? I know which teachers are doing a better job, despite the survey results. ...
Of the top primary/elementary schools in the Greater New Orleans area 8 of the 10 are in Orleans Parish.
I don't trust that list. Metairie Academy is #22 on it. Math and Reading Proficiency #9 Einstein Charter: 83% and 73% #22 Metairie Academy: 99% and 99% Having 26% of th...

re: The best school district in NOLA - nolatiger711
We're about to start PK at Metairie Academy. Wife and I went through all Catholic Schools in NOLA. I hear under 95th percentile rarely makes it in. Son tested 99th percentile. The resources available convinced us to try it out. If it doesn't work out, principal at current catholic school said they w...

I like the remote. I have it so it turns on my TV, which triggers the sound bar to turn on. I control it all from a nice tiny remote instead of my harmony. ...

re: Anybody seen many Transgenders in real life? - nolatiger711
My wife's cousin could always throw a football better than any of the guys. She, the cousin, was always a bit depressed and started experimenting with other girls at a young age. Not very surprised when she decided she was actually a guy. A couple years ago he started taking hormone injections at 14...

re: Door handle replacement for 2010 Chevy Suburban? - nolatiger711
Chevy dealer on Airline fixed our 2011 Tahoe handle for free. The guy said the chrome handles break all the time, but they would rather just fix them. Kind of a under the table recall since it doesn't affect safety. ...

re: Hawaii - Is a cruise the best way to see/experience - nolatiger711
For our honeymoon, we flew into Maui. Flew to Big Island, then Oahu, then Kauai and flew home from there. Spent 3/4 days on each. We always booked the last flight to the next island. In the morning we would check our bags at the airport, so we could spend the day on the island. After dinner, dropp...

re: Question on child development. How old would you expect this kid to be? - nolatiger711
I don't think 17 months is too early. My 3 y/o could do that when he was that age. Now he can count anything up to 1,000, but he usually will get bored. He also reads pretty well. However, he also tested in the 99th percentile....
