Have you tried stream ESPN in to a computer using the same internet connection? I can stream from most sources all day without a problem....but ESPN just drives me crazy. It is to the point that if an LSU sporting event is only on ESPN online, I just watch something else.

It’s the only streaming app that has issues for me.

It works pretty well on AppleTV but sucks on Roku. Other folks have different experiences, but it is definitely the shittiest app of the major ones.

These games are basically impossible to watch for me on these apps. Fire stick was worthless and chrome cast isn’t any better.

Some days it’s lerfectly fine and others it’s an abortion

It's been terrible for the two playoff games. Sucks on my sony android tv, roku, and Firetv. Speed test shows I'm getting 160Mb/s.

Fortunately they have like 8 ways to watch it. The data center channel one works without problems. Its the main ESPN one that sucks.

It's been awful on the watchespn app, but flawless when I stream through PSVUE.

Awful when I use the app on PS4, but it's always been like that.

Does work better on a computer.

Also, if you're talking about the games yesterday, it's probably because so many people were using it.

I'm not a tech guy, so I could be wrong about that last statement.

I think that has to be part of it. I watch a ton of Troy games throughout the year, and other SEC matchups as well. But when there are tons of games on at the same time, the viewing is spread out. Yesterday the Rose and Sugar were the only games on at that time, and it was awful. I switched to Sling and renewed my subscription before the Sugar bowl and it worked great. I was lagging behind the broadcast by maybe 30 seconds, but no buffering issues.

Buy ESPN. Kill everyone there. Replace with competent people.

Check out #watchespn on twitter and you'll see how monumentally ESPN fricked up.

First time I have had buffering issues. Wonder if the lack of net neutrality is at work.

It is astonishing at how shitty of an app it is.

Yet you won't hear a peep in the news because Disney owns it. Can you imagine how many people completely missed the second OT of the Rose Bowl?

Had to watch the “hometown radio” versions of the games cause the main broadcast was unwatchable.
