re: Need food recs for Chicago. Booking ahead of time. - LazyDaveD
Go to Sun Wah Barbeque and get the Peking Duck. First time I had it, and I look for Peking Duck when I travel now. I didn't really want traditional Chicago style pizza, so I was recommended Pequod's. It was excellent. I went to the N. Clybourn location....

Mudtown was one of my go to sandwich places when I lived in Vestavia hills. I also enjoyed getting Moe's BBQ smoked wings. Edit: Saws in Homewood was also pretty good....

I also stayed at the Silversmith and really liked it. Easy to walk around downtown, not hard to get to Wrigley. There are so many Lyft and Uber drivers around if don't want to deal with mass transit....

re: Roman Holiday - planning an Italian vacation - Help and suggestions - LazyDaveD
We really loved the food tour we did the first day. Go to several different places and get a list of restaurants to try while we were there. Trastevere would also be a great area to stay. Da Enzo was our favorite restaurant, it was the first stop on the tour. [link=(http://www.eatingitalyfoodt...

re: weber grill experts --330 or 310? - LazyDaveD
I've read the stainless models are harder to keep clean, so I got the porcelain. I went with the ep-330, which is the porcelain outside, but stainless internals. I wanted the side burner, and the sear burner is nice. Not sure what the 310 gets up to, but mine has gotten to 710 degrees....
