re: New Storage Solution for Ammo (NSFW Pic inside) - Bagger Joe
If you have a female dressed like that standing if front of you, who's first thought is "Hey! Let's organize my ammo locker!"?. Although I do see the benefit of having her put things on the high shelves. ...
My wife's grandfather flew B24s in the Aleutians During the war.
That's where my uncle flew out of. He talked about how bad the weather was and how cold it got. He said their missions were all very low level and the best thing for him to do with his parachute (being the tail gunn...

re: The B-17 Flying Fortress was one tough bird - Bagger Joe
That is amazing. I cannot imagine the courage it took to climb aboard one of those and fly the missions they did. I had an uncle who was the tail gunner on a B-24 in the Pacific. He didn't talk about it much, but when he did, everyone listened. ...

re: Wanna give a thumbs up to Redding Reloading Equipment - Bagger Joe
I reload a lot of pistol rounds and have carbide dies and still use the One Shot. I use the "bag" method and it works great. I have used the Dillon spray lube, which is nothing more than a lanolin and alcohol mix, but didn't like the 'sticky' feeling of the bullets after and don't want to wipe down ...

LC, I've heard of this homebrew. How is it after the alcohol dries off the rounds? Do you need to tumble or wipe the lube off after loading? ...

re: Wanna give a thumbs up to Redding Reloading Equipment - Bagger Joe
I like hearing stories like that. Glad you had a good experience. I like One Shot and even use it with carbide dies. Makes things go smoother. I would enjoy more reloading threads. ...

re: Found my grail 44 magnum - Bagger Joe
If you can find them, 44 Specials in a 29 aren't too bad at all. (Not like a magnum would buck anyway.) However anything magnum in a 2 1/2"-3" gun is going to be bad. ...

re: Another 1911 Thread - Bagger Joe
I have a Kimber SCP and carry it almost daily. Great shooting gun right out of the box. If you get the Kimber, I would recommend getting higher quality magazines for it. Either Wilson or McCormick. The only issue I have had with the Kimber was a FTF malfunction and it was related to the mag that cam...

re: Bapple and other RKI's, have you tried ultrasonic cleaning??? - Bagger Joe
What method do you use for drying cases, Bapple? I just lay them out on a large towel in front of a box fan for a while but I've heard everything from putting them in the oven on a cookie sheet to food dehydrators. ...

re: Bapple and other RKI's, have you tried ultrasonic cleaning??? - Bagger Joe
One of the issues I found while researching the subject was capacity. If you are only cleaning a few rifle cases then ultrasonic might be ok. If you have 200-300 pistol cases then the dry media or the SS pin/wet method may be better. I personally use the SS pins method and it works great in less tim...
Y'all realize guns are inanimate objects right? They're not children or black labs. They don't know if you don't love them or sell them.
I have never understood why people name inanimate objects like guns, cars, trucks, etc. or even refer to them as "she". ...
