Downloading A Photo When Right Click Save Doesn't Work?

Trying to download a photo online to my computer. I want original file size too and not just a thumbnail. I tried right click save, but that's disabled on this site.
I'm using IE and know there is a workaround this, but when I go to the Developer menu, I'm not sure what to do.

Sounds like you do not own the rights to the picture. You could use a screen capture software instead

Alt-printscren
Paste to paint.
Paste to paint.

Sometimes you can just do control-n to open that webpage in a new window with right click enabled. Doesn't always wirk though

And crop as necessary.
One thing to be aware of when doing this or copying to the clipboard is Color Management, which I know Firefox uses. If you've calibrated your monitor and are using a color profile, the copy will include the correction. This is fine when viewing in Paint and other programs that don't use color management, but save the file and display it in Firefox again, and the correction will be applied a second time. However, if you save the file directly from Firefox, you will get the original image. So now when I go to albumartexchange.com, I save the files instead of just copying to the clipboard before using Paint.net to reduce the huge file sizes that site employs. (I save album art in every music file.)

Usually in the developer's menu you can find images with the direct address to the picture. Copy the address into the address bar and it should pop up with only the picture and you can right click again.

um get lightshot
LINK
it's free.. you just capture whatever you want on the screen..
size it up however..
and u have several options to save to your hard drive.. create a link.. email.. etc.. all sorts of options.. lightshot is amazing for it's ease.. not need to past into paint..

you can even draw and write onto whatever you are capturing before you save it..
after you install lightshot.. just put an icon of it on your task bar if you like.. if it doesn't already do it.. click the icon any time you want to capture something on your screen.

It costs money but I don't pay for it, but i prefer Ashampoo Snap to anything on the market. You can do anything with it. Capture whatever you want from the desktop, entire web pages, scrolling web pages, and it will even capture video with sound. Once you have your capture, it even has its own built in editing suite.

How are all these screen capture programs superior to Alt+PrtScr for the OP's question?

Use the snipping tool. Win10 instructions but it applies for 7 & 8 as well.

I've never used the Alt+PrtScr feature so I couldn't tell you. I just tried it and nothing happened.

I've always used "View -> Source" to get the actual image address. Copy and paste directly into address bar.
You may can get Google to do it for you with a Image search, and display just the image.

You don't need those tools. You can do it with chrome. Send me the link, I'll do it if you need.
