Pedro, I feel your pain man. USMNT is what got me into soccer in general years ago, but now I'm bleeding for my club to start back up. I will watch USMNT today and obviously root for us but I've lost so much ferver for it.
Happy birthday btw

Bobby Wood is pretty much the only player I care about anymore.

Wood hasn't earned a start yet? Two defensive midfielders starting with fullbacks as wingers? This should go well.

Is Zardes up top?

Yeah Zardes is up top with Jozy. With this midfield I predict 35% possession

Yedlin and Shea both play wide midfield with their clubs. Brek has been a LM most of his career, just recently playing some LB for Orlando City.

Maybe I'm just being optimistic, but this looks like a decent lineup. Obviously, these guys aren't all first choices, but for who we've got still with the team, I like it. Everyone is at least in the right place.

ETA: Didn't realize who I was replying to at first. Didn't mean to sound condescending, just simple on the explanation. You should know better though. Granted, Yedlin is still in the midst of transition to RM.

Not only have the results sucked, but unless all of our top guys are playing, the lineups themselves just bums me out. I love watching Yedlin play, though, so I've got that going for me.

Has Yedlin played RM at the club level?

Not that I'm aware of, but every time I've seen him get playing time, they play him high for a defender and have him constantly making overlapping runs. I mean, after that match he had where he flicked the ball over his head from a cross and then put a picture perfect cross into the box only to watch it be sent into the mezzanine, I'm sure people are considering him in an advanced role. Technically, he's lacking, but if he can develop enough to allow his speed to combine to make him dangerous, he's a valid option in a lacking midfield.

I'll have it on in the background while I do some work. Probably won't pay much attention.

You know, the pool is "larger", but we really are lacking big time in quality. Not only are we still struggling to put remotely decent players in each position, but some our go-to players are struggling way more than they should.

Jozy has always been up and down, but I feel like he's just damaged goods at this point. We can talk all day about Bradley playing out of position, but his decision making has been lacking and he's been firing off some pretty audacious attempts.

We have a shite ton of "prospects", I feel like the little quality we have is quickly disappearing. Save us, Based Zelalem.

Well, I do know that Tottenham played him there in pre-season and that Pochettino has talked about him moving to RM. He's appeared once for Sunderland, but I haven't seen whether it was at RM or RB.

Apparently, the program as a whole has accepted death and will have black kits next year.

These responses suck. The Dutch had almost no chance to qualify for Euro 2016 and the stadium was packed and loud. We are the United States of America. You back these players on the field or GTFO.

DTOM....
