re: Arsenal 2014/15 Season Long Thread - Stewie Griffin
Spring game and packing up for a move into my first home put Arsenal on the back burner today, though I listened to the first half on the way to LSU and watched some of the second in the press box. Glad to see we got the result. Apparently Ozil set a record for chances created in an FA Cup match...

Arsenal FCVerified account ?@Arsenal TEAM NEWS: @JackWilshere, @m8arteta and @AbouVDIABY available. @MatDebuchy also fit and ready #BFCvAFC Crazy that none of those guys likely walk back into the squad. Perhaps Debuchy but Bellerin has been so, so good lately. ETA: Bellerin ran a 4.41 ...

re: Arsenal 2014/15 Season Long Thread - Stewie Griffin
Highlights of U-21s yesterday. Wilshere, Diaby, Arteta, Gnabry, and Bielik all featured. Wilshere looked sharp with his touch. Diaby looked healthy and had a great assist. Gnabry looks quite good and may be another bargaining chip to drive Theo's price down (or drive him out :( ...). Bielik pl...

re: Brady Domangue...wondering if there was a reason he isn't being used in relief - Stewie Griffin
[quote]- According to Mainieri, senior right-hander Brady Domangue may have pitched competitively for the last time. He’s been dealing with a bulging disc in his back, and while Mainieri said he told Domangue that he will remain a part of the baseball game, it sounds like his career is over. Mainier...

Ramsey also did a great job of distributing from that role. We obviously lacked width on that side, but he and Bellerin really gave Moreno fits. ...

re: Arsenal 2014/15 Season Long Thread - Stewie Griffin
Something we haven't talked about that I think got overlooked Saturday was Wenger's brilliant tactics. He gets hammered so often for being 'tactically naive.' He played Ramsey on the right of our attacking three, keeping Ozil in the hole and Santi in the B2B role. We defended superbly from the fr...

re: Arsenal 2014/15 Season Long Thread - Stewie Griffin
I don't think we need to replace Welbeck. But if Giroud goes down we will be in some trouble. And I fully expect Welbeck to become more clinical. I just think another proven goal scorer at CF would be useful. I'm not expecting to keep Theo, although I wish we would. Hopefully he gets a start...

re: Arsenal 2014/15 Season Long Thread - Stewie Griffin
I'm not frustrated at all. If we buy Schneiderlin in the summer and maybe another CB without selling anyone major I think we are the favorites next season. Coquelin has allowed us to take the next step. Depth there and a better ball retainer can take us to the next level. Maybe another CF too. W...
