re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - Fratastic423
. My long aged sour will need to be bottled completely, however, and i plan to do the same process as before, but make sure to rinse the hell out of each bottle.
You could argue as Michael Tonsmeire does that there is no real reason to sanitize multi-bacteria soured beer bottle...

re: Jurgy Names #DosACero Roster - Fratastic423
It is unfortunate that nagbe is on the outside looking in as I like what he brings to the table. Stanko and zusi hopefully fill that void ...

re: Kamado grills - Fratastic423
I bought a Kamado Joe off Craigslist over the weekend and after I cleaned it out by bringing it to 600 for 30 mins. Today I'm lighting it up to cook a chicken and I notice the ceramics on the inside are cracked. So either I missed the cracks when I bought it, happened in transit, or on cleaning. Are...

re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - Fratastic423
My heating element on the RIMS is almost too big for the system and it has a really hard time raising the temp of the full mash. ...

I believe that they are the precursor to this brand. Name isnt the same but they look almost identical. Thinking that the original company sold to FastFerment. [link=(http://www.northernbrewer.com/fastferment-7-9-gallon-conical-fermentor)]AB Inbev Homebrew Store Link[/link]...
You still have those?
Unfortunately. I have the space to store them without being in the way, so I forget that I have them and stop trying to sell them. Then I will remember that they are still in my shed and bring them up. ...

re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - Fratastic423
Hell if you have an upright full fridge or freezer that you could use as a fermentation chest, I will sell my two plastic 6.5 gallon conicals with a wood rack for less than that 1 conical. ...

re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - Fratastic423
I could never get full use of my conicals due to my inability to temp control them. I really liked them but it was just difficult when I was only able to use them in the winter and even then it really was only useful for Belgian beers. ...

re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - Fratastic423
I pulled a sample out last night just to see how far fermentation had gone. It has about 10/12 pts left to fall from its original 1070, so I suppose I will throw the dry hops in this afternoon. I got gun shy yesterday. ...

re: United States of F#ck Yeah v. All-White Kiwis | 7pm CDT (ESPN) - Fratastic423
Is this game even worth watching on my DVR? I saw the score and that Yedlin was playing up top and Orozco at RB.
I told a buddy last night that it was not really worth watching. It was fairly boring overall, at least from an American perspective. If I was kiwi I think I would ...
