re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - Fratastic423
Brewing gets real complicated real quick if you let it. My advice is to not let it until you are sure that you like the hobby. If you have the pot, don't worry about doing anything to off the bat. Go buy a plastic carboy, the airlock, sanitizer (Star-San), and an auto siphon. Either have you...

re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - Fratastic423
Speaking of summer festivals, are you brewing anything for the Nottoway beer fest?
I brewed 8 gallons of a Belgian single that I was going to send 5 gallons to that festival. I haven't registered yet because I wanted to ensure that the beer was worth sending and I didn't have to b...

re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - Fratastic423
I need to rebrew the Watermelon Kolsch that I used to make for festivals. I typically just pureed and strained the watermelon into the secondary and left it for a day or two before transferring into the keg. Nice summer festival beer. ...

re: Why are my lights suddenly flickering when my ac starts - Fratastic423
Energy is giving me a bunch of shite about the same issue. Their service guys claim it's not their fault. Corporate paid for a brand new account unit and I have paperwork suggesting that my fairly new washer burned up due to a voltage issue. But they haven't said there is anything to fix. Multiple el...

re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - Fratastic423
I didn't get the brewing in this weekend, so I am taking the afternoon off to get it accomplished today. Brewing a Westy Single of sorts. 70% Pilsner, 25% Pale Malt, 5% sugar. Bittered with N. Brewer and Magnum, Flavored with Hallertau Mitterlfrueh and Stryian Golding. Wyeast Abbey Ale at 65-75....

re: So, does Yedlin stay with Sunderland now that they're staying in the PL? - Fratastic423
I would imagine that they would figure out a way for him to stay unless Spurs unload one of their full backs. I think he is probably better than Trippier but I'd rather him play first team minutes then sit behind the other 3 guys. ...

re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - Fratastic423
This will probably be my last year dealing with NHC at all. For the second time I got virtually no feedback that is useful for me, not that in competitions I typically get good feedback. But my two NHC experiences I have gotten considerably less feedback than other competitions. It isn't worth my...
Intentionally stepping on a players hand. Card. Every fricking time. If you so much as even question thats a card then you know nothing at all. re: Should Spurs be docked points b/c of last night events ? - Fratastic423
For as bad as it was yesterday, Dembele and his eye stab and Dyer's tackles on Hazard were the only things that I took as too far over the line during the game. Unless Lamela is the smoothest foot stomp-er on the planet I am not buying that he tried to crush Fabregas's hand; and all the other tackl...
