Clearly, however if you play at a neutral site there is no home field advantage. No reason to play the two games for a "final". ...

I really don't care about Montreal, but Holy shite am I jacked up about how terrible that ref was throughout the second half (only part I watched). That was so horrendous. I've never seen a guy so concerned about time wasting that he blows the whistle immediately after the ball goes out of bounds for...

Why not get the water really cold to help with chilling? My suggestion would be to maybe chill a little then add the water to help drop it the entire way. ...
I thought you had.
At first I thought I had swung and missed with this beer. As it went into the keg I wasn't terribly excited about it. However, now that it is cold and carbonated I am really digging it. Going to keep it as my base wheat recipe. ...
feel like my flameout addition stayed hot too long. I don't have a wort chiller and had to do it the old fashioned way. I
I asked a homebrewer turned pro brewer about this and he said that 10 mins is enough time. So if you bag your hops during the boil pull them out after soaking...

re: Homebrewing: In-Process Thread - Fratastic423
I have a feeling that is based off of the commercial recipe rather than the homebrew recipe (speaking of the .7/.3) Scaling up hops is not a linear slope. I just brewed this beer and used an ounce of each at flameout and it could probably use more hops. But it is a nice beer currently....

To update the thread on my NHC mis-catergorized beer. If anyone recalls, I committed to sending a beer before taking a look at the categories, I assumed that NHC would have moved to the new BCJP style guidelines. However I made an arse out of myself for assuming. I said F it and sent a sour Belgia...

I didn't get to bottling anything this weekend, however we did move the 15 gallons of Imperial Porter into the LA 1 Whiskey barrel at the house. The beer is damn good on its own, so lets hope the fresh barrel turns it up to 11. Saison is fermenting nicely but do not think it will be finished by...

re: Homebrewing: In-Process Thread - Fratastic423
Brewing in a bag on the stove went fairly well yesterday. Went with the no chill method, going into the plastic conical at about 115 last night. Still a little too warm to pitch first thing this morning at 84. Looking to get it down to about 75ish. Going with 3711 then the dregs of wicked weed bottl...
