I'm going to watch just because you don't get to see u.s. soccer play all that often, but I'm going to be shite faced when it starts. That I can guarantee.

That's the $1 million question.

It would be nice to get some sort of a win out of this, but in the end, I'll probably just end up frustrated and playing FIFA to ease the pain by the end of the night. My optimism is pretty much gone at this point.

I think this game could be the final spark to a real soccer board melt down which is inevitably coming. I'm kind of excited for it though and am gonna participate.

Tonight's outcome:

No possesion by USA.

Bobby Wood lone goal.

Dozy will look lazy and ineffective.

Backline mistakes.

Howard with many big saves, but cant save all 12 shots on goal.

Jurgen says this is a good "learning" moment and will find a player to blame.

Johnathan Bornstien will be mentioned by ESPN as a possible savior of our CB pairing.

Miguel Herrera will be announced as Manager on Thursday and Jurgen to stay on as Technical Director until Atlanta FC United Sporting Club hires him as manager.

Why in the world is Lynden Gooch not getting a call up NOW by the USMNT? This guy is gating huge positive reviews from every one in england and nothing from Jurgy.

He was u-21 player of the month but where else do you see people raving about him? He's not German not is he named Green so he's not getting a call up any time soon.

This all day.

My life for the past decade plus has been planned around "gamedays". I would take off work, rearrange my schedule, etc to watch the USMNT.

Today, I just don't care. I'm still going to watch and support, but I need something in return.

Let some young guys who are hungry play. Some energy and some effort.

Maybe Timmy will lead the back and we will communicate tonight.

This should get him in based on our squad:

Dozy
Dempsey
Alan Gordon
Wondo
Wood

Not much competition
