There's no honor in being a Chelsea fan. It's like going to Bill Gates' house and leaving money on his doorstep.

Why because people are having a reasonable debate? That is shite to you? What do you think message boards are for. I haven't called anyone a name, blindly degraded any player, or said anything that is not true. Maybe you should get a new definition of shite? My best guess however is that "shite" to you means someone making a point you don't want to hear and not being able to refute it.

blah blah. As if anyone here doesn't realize that Lampard is a great player who scores lots of goals.

And this:
quote:

I haven't said anything that is not true.

is how you come off all the time. As if your opinion just the plain truth of the matter.

Everybody else is for the most-part half-serious in these soccer threads, but you act as if you're proclaiming the gospel.

Your best guess is unsurprisingly arrogant and condescending.

I joined the thread late.
I guess most are scared to spread their love for chelsea in the face of adversity.

can play some attractive football on their day

lol. that is the first time I have seen spurs football and attractive in the same sentence. I am not being bitter about the city loss. I will admit, sometimes booting the ball up the field like a JV team works. It does play to their strengths and get the job done, but it's not attractive.
hats off to defoe for that 5 goal game. that was impressive.

He's awesome.

I don't keep up much with italian soccer too much (although I want to now that he's with inter)
Didn't he do real good stuff with inter?

They called him similar names when he was with chels, too.

I remember when he went to inter I told myself that I wanted to try to follow serie a. I never did though.
