Norwich, although nobody knows if those are real numbers. I have a hard time believing we'd turn down 8 mil for the almost 30 year old Naismith.

I read that on the LPecho. I agree with you. No clue why they would turn that down IF that's true.

Looks like we're done assuming Lennon comes in.

Hard to judge this window considering we did do some good business bringing in Del and Cleverley. The Funes Mori debacle seems like it may have been some shitty business, and the young guys we'll just have to see on.

But all of that is being overshadowed by the continued statements from Martinez of bringing in a playmaker, the failure to get Yarms and then failing to bring in anyone else to fill that gigantic hole. In light of the money we were allegedly offering for Yarmolenko, the big offer for Naismith, the apparent willingness to double the fee for Funes Mori for no good reason, etc., it doesn't make sense that we couldn't find help in the form of an attacking midfielder.

Hard to get too excited about this window, keeping Stones is great but we are still finishing 8-11, Gerry D signing is good for the potential vs the price, but none of this moves the needle.

Given our presumably mid table finish in the league, no need not to go all in on the cups this year

If we'd have landed Yarmolenko then this would have been a great window. Hopefully we can pull it off in January

Yeah I'm just worried that if he plays well in UCL, we'll have too much competition.

Lennon is confirmed. It's a 3yr deal.

It's on the official Twitter page.

I'm more than ok with that deal for 4.5m. Tottenham asking for 9m was laughable though

International Break Summary:

Ross got his first goal and played considerable time in both games. Stones and Jags also started in the first game w/Barkley against San Marino.

Ramiro got his second cap for Argentina as they curb stomped Boiivia 7-0. I don't think he was on the bench for the Mexico game.

Lukaku started in their first game against Besic's Bosnia-Herzegovina and didn't make it off the bench for the second match. Benteke stated and Origi came on at halftime. So an all around bad pair of games for Belgium forwards.

Besic played in both games up until he got a red for throwing gum in the second

McCarthy played both games for Ireland. McGeady got some time in the first game (~17 min) and Coleman played the full 90 in the second.

Naismith started against their 1-0 loss to Georgia and was subbed off around the 60th minute. Did not play against Germany.

Remember hearing something about Delo scoring in a U21 game for Spain.

Oviedo was a late scratch for Costa Rica due to injury

Oh and both Kevin Mirallas and Tim Howard sat on the bench.

Did I forget anyone?
