Stones and Jag played extremely well today. Naismith had a terrific day. Great win.

I worry a little about Geri's playing time with the Lennon signing though. What do yall think?

Lads i must say we raped today.

Geri is versatile enough a la naisy, kone, mirallas that he will still get plenty of chsnces whereas lennon is strictly a winger. McGeady is probably well down the pecking order but its good to have all those options in there when you include ossie and pienaar.

I had to leave around the 75th minute, how did funes mori look?

He wasn't really on long enough to form an opinion. He looks like he'll be solid on defense though. He also made a nice play when he zoomed passed Costa until that tPOS fouled him from behind.

Roberto gave Mou and the lot the pantsing they deserved for the Stones affair.

Kone looked pretty decent again, deserved that goal on the header but Begovic is no slouch

Edit: also have to mention thought Barry looked good today, didn't look off the pace as usual and was playing passes forward not just shuttling square passes from fullback to fullback

Watching the highlights now. Damn that was some beautiful setup play on the 2nd goal. I'm loving Rom and Kone's chemistry out there

Before the match, I didn't think there was any way we would lose this one. I was not disappointed. The squad were amped up from the very start and the crowd never let up. It was also cool seeing Stones gesture towards the Gwladys End and celebrate with the lads after Naisy secured the hat trick.

special one has special needs

quote:

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho argued with Everton boss Roberto Martinez over managerial etiquette after his side lost at Goodison Park on Saturday.
After Martinez spoke to the media first following his side's 3-1 victory, Mourinho interrupted the Spaniard as he addressed another group of journalists.
The Portuguese felt his interviews should have taken place first.
"Roberto, next time tell me to go before you because we have to travel," said Mourinho, who swore as he left.
Martinez replied: "I don't control that, Jose. I don't control that."

what a bitch

quote:

After Mourinho left abruptly, Martinez said to the journalists, including a Liverpool Echo reporter: "When he beat us 6-3 last season he was such a nice man. I prefer him like that."

Bobby's reactions to Jose have been brilliant. It's a few of those "Go on, keep making yourself out to be an idiot" demeanors.

He doesn't have to say a whole lot to frustrate Jose these days though. Bobby's just enjoying the circus.

We controlled the 1st half. Stones and Jag look terrific. Browning and Galloway are playing well. Barkley and Lukaku had a few chances to score. Kone looks bad. Maybe we'll see Geri or Kev soon. I imagine Mori wlil come on the second half.

And Kone just missed easy goal opp.

To his credit Kone has played pretty intelligently today, despite not really threatening.

I think he's looked bad today. Doesn't matter now...

Geri is on!

Im happy with the point based on how tough swansea are. Could have done without that red card but at least we didnt pull an arsenal and get a guy off before half

we are so young
3 of the 4 defenders today are 21 and under i think
add in lukaku and delafeau and besic

have to be one of the youngest teams in league
