re: Ronald Koeman is officially out as Everton manager - Cocotheape on 10/23/17 at 10:57 pm
Dyche seems to be one of the favorites, but why hire Dyche when you could just hire Pulis? If it's going to be ugly, give me the guy whose teams don't always have terrible xG differentials....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: MLS Decision Day and Atlanta United! - Cocotheape on 10/22/17 at 5:48 pm
The playoffs were the goal, anything above that was just icing on the cake. A home playoff game is definitely that. Hoping with Miggy back ATL can regain the form they had when MBS first opened. No one wants to play an in form Atlanta ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Georgia fans, how do you like your chances if you meet Bama in ATL? - Cocotheape on 10/17/17 at 3:04 pm
QB isn't good enough for UGA. Bama won't let the Dawgs run. UGA's defense is good enough to cause Alabama problems, but if your offense can't do anything you are in trouble giving all that talent the ball over and over. Now UGA has a chance of course, but they probably need to win the turnove...

re: Sam Allardyce interested in taking United States job - sources (ESPN) - Cocotheape on 10/17/17 at 10:22 am
I mean, we hired Jurgen who is good at...talking to German dudes with American dads? At least Allardyce can set up an organized defense, which is something we have struggled with. Don't think he's the right hire but I also won't be shocked if we hire a "worse" manager....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: Sam Allardyce interested in taking United States job - sources (ESPN) - Cocotheape on 10/17/17 at 9:57 am
Eh, we could do worse. This is one of those that makes more sense when Michael Bradley is your best player, not when you have Pulisic and co. coming through. Playing organized defense will take any national team squad a long way though....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Can someone explain to me why our youth system is bad? - Cocotheape on 10/16/17 at 3:54 pm
I think the regional academies (that are completely free, paid for by money from clubs/MLS/USSF, transfer/signing fees, and sponsors) plus more emphasis on getting qualified coaches should be the priority for USSF. However, given how big a project this would be and how capital intensive the academie...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: This is what happens when leagues compete instead of clubs - Cocotheape on 10/11/17 at 9:09 am
Still searching for your post from 2013 blaming lack of promotion and relegation for the USA's paltry 1st place finish in WC qualifying. Now, I can appreciate the trolling of this thread, A+ timing. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: The gay pride flags are brutal - Cocotheape on 10/9/17 at 4:35 pm
Oops, replied to SCH. Real Salt Lake is stupid, that's pretty much concensus. Not sure why you bring that up. Everything MLS does isn't good. So I'm supposed to assume here 100 years later in a more globally connected world there will be less copying of chants, etc.? Bad hypothesis. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: The gay pride flags are brutal - Cocotheape on 10/9/17 at 3:55 pm
And when viable professional soccer leagues were about twenty years old in South America they blatantly ripped off the English down to the team names. Everything is derivative to some degree until you do it so long people forget or don't care....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: The gay pride flags are brutal - Cocotheape on 10/9/17 at 3:17 pm
MLS has some goofy fans but none of it is as cringe worthy as the fans of some of the lower league teams. Everyone would be better off if they just accepted that American soccer culture is going to be different than Europe and let it develop. Its okay if the mostly young fanbase skews liberal, n...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
. Why haven't they released any pictures of him on thousands of cameras in or out of the casino?
Only two groups have access to that private security camera footage: the casino themselves, who would never share that footage if it was up to them, and the various investigators. re: Any modern civilization you could see failing during your lifetime? - Cocotheape on 9/8/17 at 8:41 pm
Germany and the UK are the strongest Western European countries, they aren't going anywhere without a war so catastrophic it won't matter who the winner is....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
