Great run of form, injuries hampered yet another season. Too much ground to make up. Damn shame.

Hoping for a miracle today! That 3rd goal really screwed us, still can't get over that we gave that up

That was a huge mistake, as poorly as we had played, 2-1 wasn't terrible and much easier to over come. Oh well, I'm ready for tomorrow. Guys coming back into training at the perfect time.

Debuchy, Gnabry, Rosicky, Arteta and Gabriel all back in training today.

Gotta love the Coq.

quote:

“To win the ball back, to play the ball forward quickly… I am difficult to muscle off, even if I am not huge. I didn’t fare too badly against Fellaini against Manchester United. After that, I am not really needed in an attacking sense. When you have Sanchez, Cazorla, Ozil, Giroud, Walcott, Welbeck in front of you… I am here to take a weight off the load on those guys there.”

quote:

On who has impressed him the most among his teammates…

“At Arsenal, Cazorla. On a technical level, he is above and beyond. He has been here for 3 years, and I still don’t know if he is right-footed or left-footed

quote:

Are you living your dream?

“At the time as a kid, I wanted to be a sports journalist! I started my literary baccalaureate, but I changed that after 15 days, because it wasn’t aligning with my training sessions. I didn’t do my bac after that. I may take it one day, to make my teachers and my mother happy.”

I won't be watching until later this evening. I have a big doctor's appointment today, but I'll be with you all in spirit.

Hope all goes well at the doctor's appointment.

I don't have Fox Sports 2, but I'm considering finding a restaurant/pub today to watch the match. I know it's a tall order, but they've been playing so well lately. You gotta have faith, right?

Exactly how many of us figured we'd end up going down. Even on aggregate but that 3rd away goal was the killer.

The more things change... The more they stay the same. Still, it hurts just as badly every time.

I think everyone expected a 2-0 win.

Really frustrating that our worst game in months was first leg of the champions league

It's a pattern not an outlier. We always lose the first game at this stage. That's not great for getting to the next round, apparently.

Finish in the top 3 and win the FA Cup and I won't be as upset.

No one to blame but themselves. We could have had 5 or 6 goals today. But you can't go down 3-1 at home.

The effort was great, per and kosc were great. Wondering if welbeck should have been kept on, he came to play today.

As mad as I was at beginning of season, we should finish 2nd. City is struggling big time. This team is capable of winning out with pool and Chelsea at home. Man u away but arsenal should get a result there is they play up to their potential.

I applaud the effort. The fact that they put in 2 at a place where no one seems to score was impressive. Having said that, this tie was as Arsenal as Arsenal gets. It appears they are destined to break my heart forever.
