I hope so. Theo really came on at the end of the year.

Well, we just jettisoned one of our training room residents. Abou Diaby has been allowed to leave the team. Arsenal have allowed his contract along with those of Jack Jebb, Austin Lipman, Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill, and Josh Vickers to expire.

Arsenal allow 5 players to leave

This is a sad day ... while the memories of Diaby are few, they have been special! Best of luck (staying healthy) wherever he goes next.

Also looks like Poldi is going to Galatassary.

Hopefully this isn't the end of Diabys career. Never forget how he bossed Liverpool at Anfeild a couple of seasons ago.

That was one of the more impressive performances I can remember as an Arsenal fan.

Ok so who has been to a game? I just signed up for the Red Membership. I want to get tickets to the first game against West Ham. Looks like they go on sale July 22nd. My question is, can I get more than one ticket, or does my buddy have to get a membership too?

I will use Wenger-ese ... Coquelin's emergence at HM is like a big signing. I agree our midfield looks solid.

I hope though, Arsene does not go into his shell and doesn't sign anyone beyond Cech.

That seems to be the indication, taken with a grain of salt since the info comes from the Brit rumour rags.

Oh ... for Glass and the other venerable Soccer Board Gooners ... when will we start the 2015/16 thread?

Been wondering the same thing. Community shield is on the 2nd iirc, so we should make it pretty soon.

I think he feels the squad is strong enough right now and will only make a move if something falls in his lap like Ozil,Sanchez, and Chech did.

It is why the Benzema rumors don't seem too outlandish because you could easily see RM forcing him in to a situation that he might want out of.

I wonder how much truth there is to the rumors about Schneiderlin preferring Arsenal over United or if it just a ploy to get more money out of United.

I am interested to see how Arteta looks after getting the bone spur removed from his ankle. Apparently that is what lead to a lot of the leg issues he had last season. They didn't discover it until way too late.
