Most people agree that athletes are overpaid, and the team owners make too much money. The sports industry is full of greed.
I support college sports, but why does a coach make millions?
We now know why tuition is so high.

What about corporations that make more than 20m in profits? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

uhm, how would an individual "create jobs" in numbers of any significance?
Tom Cruise earns $30m, like in your example. He did this making movies (which employ people). Does he now have to spend money to create jobs to keep his money?
What about a CEO who earns a $30m salary running a company that employs hundreds?
It just doesn't make any sense. Now if you mean some sort of corporate tax credit for job creation, those exist in abundance.

Because his program brings in money to the University.

The $100k salary threshold seems pretty arbitrary. I think a better threshold is a credit for any full time position that is 25% over the poverty limit. And excludes executive level jobs.

When 30+ million people stop watching the super bowl then maybe.

Because having a good one will make enough money to pay a broke school 7mil to cover expenses, and a bad one could result in the school paying millions just to keep the football team afloat

I'm not sure. I own stock, but I still believe that stock prices are obscenely high (as are corporate profits). Plus, I hate when corporations make extra money by laying people off.
I haven't finished researching this.

I think they should cap athletic salaries anyway. $30m for throwing a football? I don't think so.
You can't fathom the millions of dollars and hundreds of jobs Drew Brees subsidizes for the city of New Orleans for "throwing a football."
Some of you guys seriously need to take a course in basic economics.

Only people who lack any level of economic competency.

If there were caps, he'd gladly throw the football for $5.0m year (a national cap would be needed).
The same economic effect would be there.
He's just an athlete - why should he make more than the President?
Publicly traded corporations should also have salary caps.
ETA: I have plenty of economic competency.

Your "tax structure" makes very little sense considering jobs are not an end but a means to an end.
This crap tax plan incentivizes those with funds to invest in labor instead of machinery, which in the long run lowers real wages.
