If they have "hundreds" of lower level employees, they should pay them a compensation package of at least $100k per year.

I like economic growth where it is across the board, and not centered among the rich white uber wealthy.

Check out these NFL and NBA rosters that you think make too much to throw a ball

quote:

Everyone who works or who is willing to work should share in society's wealth - not just the Republican fat cats

Check out owners political alignment too.
Also do you think tens of millions is unreasonable pay for acting like someone else for story telling purposes? Which way does Hollywood lean?

Everyone who is willing to work does and should share in societies wealth. The only way to achieve this is to incentivize mass job creation through the so called "greedy" like NFL owners.
Less incentive less job creation. Why build a billion dollar empire emplying tens of thousands of you have a 20mil dollar cap...

Exactly, why build one? Why should you get to have one?

Jerry Jones is undeserving of a billion dollar empire, as are the Waltons at Walmart. No one should have a "billion dollar empire."

Spread the wealth around, if we don't, you'll see what happens.

ETA: Actors make too much, but there are extenuating factors at play that don't exist in sports.

You are completely missing the entire point.

If there is no reason to build the wealth then there is no wealth to spread around. No jobs either

And this wealth is spread around. how much do you think you contributed to the roads you drive on, the police that protect you, the military that defends you, etc... look up what percent of taxes the top 1% pay.

I'm fair. I didn't say cap player's income and let the owners increase their wealth. The owners are already among the obscenely wealthy. Set up a structure where they are forced to create jobs with meaningful pay as opposed to pocketing the money.

Do you really think those millions of dollars are not creating jobs, albeit not directly? Even if it's in a bank or stock market, it is still being used for something.

You do know that trickle down economics has been completely debunked?

Because they fricking worked and put their asses on the line for it, more often than not.

Or uneducated and unskilled people could put in a little more effort? Are you a welfare queen? Serious question.

No I'm not a welfare queen. I own my own house and a farm, and have no debt. I don't mooch off the government like most Republicans do.

The wealthy make their money off the backs of the workers, this is a fact you can't dispute. So, the uneducated and unskilled are making an effort - they are doing most of the work.

Good lord.

As hated as it may be, Walmart has done more for the US quality of living than any single entity in the history of the world, save capitalism in general. Poor people should be thanking them every single day that they have big screen TVs for $199 on Black Friday and $0.50 totinos pizzas.

Nobody DESERVES a flat screen.

So banks don't use rich people's money to loan to us peasants so we can buy our homes, that 30 people just built, that the insurance company and it's employee insure, etc, etc, etc.

Stop thinking of everything in a box...because it's not.

I know that everything is not in a box. But, the government could set up loan funds if the banks would not.

No, you are clearly espousing the talking points, mannerisms, and even backstory of a well-known poster. You are deliberately making absurd statements that you know will get a rise out of posters who aren't aware of the schtick.

Heather is easily manipulated with fairly adequate competition....it's kinda fun watching her change her stance from page 1 to 18.

That's because she's an idiot.
