Boss Tweed and his Dems go to Washington. Goody.

It can be done. He is head of the Executive Branch. Merely get rid of the agency and lay them off. Depopulate Northern Virginia by scattering them all over the country. Turn it Red again.

Two and Three are worth trying and Four is a battle that has to be fought. Five has to be fought too somehow the agencies have to be brought back to the missions they were meant for and not the political shite they have descended into.

Six has to be done too or we won't have a country in 10 years. We have to step up here and MAKE them fund it or vote them out.

Seven...it's been done before. Remember JFK and Cuba? It's all coming out of China. Stop and search everything if we have to.

Eight..Stick it to them they do it to us.

Nine....Eff Charlie Chan.

Ten and Eleven..SOMETHING has to be done these may not be the answer but I am open to suggestions..the status quo is not acceptible

Trump couldn’t tell Chris Wray, Bob Barr, and John Bolton were “deep stste”. How is he going to discern amongst thousands of federal employees?

3. Spending. Revive the so-called impoundment power, which presidents have asserted to refuse to spend money appropriated by Congress.
What specifically would be “impounded”?

You cannot repeal a constitutional right with an EO. This is sillly.

These EOs are out of hand. How about an EO to limit the power of EOs.

This terminology is a loser. Did they learn nothing from the Democrats?

Nothing would make me happier, but they will steal this election too and even if by some miracle the Orange Gladiator is elected, they will fight him tooth and nail or likely pull a JFK on him. These people in DC are sick and will go to great lengths to keep the power.

I hear ya, and I wish you were right. But I went down the rabbit hole on this one:

LINK .

quote:

The Supreme Court addressed the meaning of this key provision in United States v. Wong Kim Ark. Wong Kim Ark was born in San Francisco to parents who were both Chinese citizens. At age 21, he took a trip to China to visit his parents. When he returned to the United States, he was denied entry on the grounds that he was not a U.S. citizen. In a 6-2 decision, the Court ruled in favor of Wong Kim Ark. Because he was born in the United States and his parents were not “employed in any diplomatic or official capacity under the Emperor of China,” the Citizenship Clause of the 14th Amendment automatically made him a U.S. citizen. This case highlighted a disagreement between the justices over the precise meaning of one key phrase in the Citizenship Clause: “subject to the jurisdiction thereof.”

"Subject to the jurisdiction thereof" was understood by both British common law (and US judges that trained in common law), to mean ambassadors and diplomatic staff and their families.

In both the plain language and original interpretation, this means born=citizenship. Plus it would overturn precedent. Doable, but an additional barrier.

NOW, if you take a more "it's a living document" garbage-type approach, then yeah, it can mean anything.

Again, I want the same thing, and I spent a considerable amount of time looking into this issue.

How did his campaign plan and first 100 day plan work out the first time?

And Hilary still isn't in jail. Guy is a blow hard.

Wong Kim Ark was ruled to be citizen because he was born to people who were here legally, gainfully employed and not working as diplomats.

From the decision itself

"the Fourteenth Amendment affirms the ancient and fundamental rule of citizenship by birth within the territory, in the allegiance and under the protection of the country, including all children here born of resident aliens"

"during all the time of their said residence in the United States, as domiciled residents therein, the said mother and father of said Wong Kim Ark were engaged in the prosecution of business, and were never engaged in any diplomatic or official capacity under the Emperor of China"

No one thought the 14th Amendment (which was written to determine the citizenship of slaves) gave citizenship to children of illegal immigrants until 1982 after Brennan's footnote (which isn't legally anything other than Brennan's own personal opinion).

"no plausible distinction with respect to Fourteenth Amendment 'jurisdiction' can be drawn between resident aliens whose entry into the United States was lawful, and resident aliens whose entry was unlawful."

quote:

The 14th Amendment doesn’t say that all persons born in the U.S. are citizens. It says that “[a]ll persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof” are citizens.

That second, critical, conditional phrase is conveniently ignored or misinterpreted by advocates of “birthright” citizenship.

Critics erroneously believe that anyone present in the United States has “subjected” himself “to the jurisdiction” of the United States, which would extend citizenship to the children of tourists, diplomats, and illegal aliens alike.

But that is not what that qualifying phrase means. Its original meaning refers to the political allegiance of an individual and the jurisdiction that a foreign government has over that individual.

The fact that a tourist or illegal alien is subject to our laws and our courts if they violate our laws does not place them within the political “jurisdiction” of the United States as that phrase was defined by the framers of the 14th Amendment.

This amendment’s language was derived from the 1866 Civil Rights Act, which provided that “[a]ll persons born in the United States, and not subject to any foreign power” would be considered citizens.

Sen. Lyman Trumbull, a key figure in the adoption of the 14th Amendment, said that “subject to the jurisdiction” of the U.S. included not owing allegiance to any other country.

It all sounds good to me. If someone thinks one or more of them are illegal then they can go to court and argue their case. After all, that's what the Dums do all the time.
