Trump needs to simplify his campaign message.
1) Secure the borders, begin deportation of illegals.
2) Purge and reduce size of the Bureaucratic State (FBI, DOJ, IRS, CIA, etc.)
3) Restore the US manufacturing/industrial base, end all technology transfers to China
4) Iron clad protection of the 1 & 2 amendments
5) Congressional term limits along with comprehensive lobby reform
6) Coherent foreign policy with an America 1st philosophy
7) Enforcement of current immigration laws and yes, end birthright citizenship.

So executive orders can overrule constitutional provisions now? Good to know,
The current constitutional basis for birth right citizenship is based on a footnote from a case in the 19th century. Need an EO to challenge the current birth right paradigm and form a more concrete basis for birth right citizenship one way or the other.
Or congress and/or the states can step in and define it for SCOTUS which I'm sure they would much more prefer.

Fire thousands of federal employees he deems are “the deep state” and move several agencies out of Washington.
When is he gonna tell us who these thousands of federal workers are? I don't need names but I'd like to know positions and agencies...
quote:
Spending. Revive the so-called impoundment power, which presidents have asserted to refuse to spend money appropriated by Congress
So if we still run a deficit then it's definitely his fault?
quote:
Citizenship. Issue an EO ending constitutional right to birthright citizenship.
Using an executive order to overturn the constitution? Can you do that?
quote:
Law Enforcement. Defund the FBI and DOJ
Love it let's suck local police funding out of everything too.
quote:
Drugs. Order the Navy to enforce a full embargo to prevent fentanyl and other drugs from entering the country.
What? We can't stop drugs from getting to prison? We're gonna embargo ourselves?
quote:
Housing. Build new housing cities on federal land.
11. Homelessness. Relocate thousands of homeless to newly-created tent cities.
Wait so are we building housing cities or tent city homeless camps?

FFS the majority of our problems come from population centers. He wants to build more of them? Why? So the Dems can make even easier to subvert elections?

An EO wouldn't necessarily challenge any case.
It would just turn on whether the President has the authority to issue an EO on the matter, which he does not.
I'd applaud the effort but it wouldn't do a thing.

If you can't tell his desire to be POTUS is personally motivated, this should give you a clue.

9. China. Impose restrictions on Chinese ownership of infrastructure in the US.
Just infrastructure?
Housing on Federal Lands
Depends on where these Federal Lands are.
I like all these ideas, but we all know most are undoable.

If a candidate is not talking about healthcare, it's a mistake. That is a looming crisis.
We probably need Vivek to explain how Health Insurance isn't Healthcare in the same manner that Car Insurance isn't Car Care.
Car Insurance = get in wreck, car get fixed
Health Insurance = break an arm, arm gets fixed
Car car = change oil
Health care = buy Tylenol for headache
Health care is not welfare recipients going to the ER for a headache to receive a "free" bottle of Tylenol.

Stopped here. Imagine cheering on the WH wrestling away even more power from Congress. Yea, this wouldn't come back to bite that arse at all.

quote:
1. Federal Workers. Fire thousands of federal employees he deems are “the deep state” and move several agencies out of Washington.
Had a chance to do that in first term
quote:
2. Agencies. Assert independent control over the Federal Trade Commission and Federal Communications Commission.
Didn't do in first term
quote:
3. Spending. Revive the so-called impoundment power, which presidents have asserted to refuse to spend money appropriated by Congress.
Didn't cut spending in first term
quote:
4. Citizenship. Issue an EO ending constitutional right to birthright citizenship.
Will take a constitutional challenge and Supreme Court ruling
quote:
5. Law Enforcement. Defund the FBI and DOJ
So no federal law enforcement? Just another form of defund the police
quote:
6. Immigration. Carry out the “largest deportation operation” in US history and send thousands of US troops to the Texas/Mexico border.
Didn't do in first term
quote:
7. Drugs. Order the Navy to enforce a full embargo to prevent fentanyl and other drugs from entering the country.
It's coming from across the border, where there was supposed to be a wall
quote:
8. Trade. Impose a 10% tariff on nearly all imported goods.
Smoot Hawley all over again
quote:
9. China. Impose restrictions on Chinese ownership of infrastructure in the US.
Should have done in first term
quote:
10. Housing. Build new housing cities on federal land.
Affordable housing? Commercial housing? What does this mean?
quote:
11. Homelessness. Relocate thousands of homeless to newly-created tent cities.
I'm not for bailing out blue cities with taxpayer dollars
Looks like a good list, most of which could have and should have been done while he was fighting twitter wars in his first term.
