What about building a wall that Mexico will pay for? Or repealing and replacing Obama care?

I googled “Trump 11 point campaign plan” and this thread seems to be the only result that references it.

Trump has released his campaign pledges. Are these feasible? Too extreme? Pandering?

Check today’s WSJ for the article.

1. Federal Workers. Fire thousands of federal employees he deems are “the deep state” and move several agencies out of Washington.

2. Agencies. Assert independent control over the Federal Trade Commission and Federal Communications Commission.

3. Spending. Revive the so-called impoundment power, which presidents have asserted to refuse to spend money appropriated by Congress.

4. Citizenship. Issue an EO ending constitutional right to birthright citizenship.

5. Law Enforcement. Defund the FBI and DOJ

6. Immigration. Carry out the “largest deportation operation” in US history and send thousands of US troops to the Texas/Mexico border.

7. Drugs. Order the Navy to enforce a full embargo to prevent fentanyl and other drugs from entering the country.

8. Trade. Impose a 10% tariff on nearly all imported goods.

9. China. Impose restrictions on Chinese ownership of infrastructure in the US.

10. Housing. Build new housing cities on federal land.

11. Homelessness. Relocate thousands of homeless to newly-created tent cities.

What are your thoughts? I can see several of these being deemed unlawful or at least tied up in the courts for years.

No, almost all of those are not feasible and are designed to pander to idiots.

There seems to be no shortage of idiots willing to sign up for falling in line behind such fantasies, however, so maybe he still has a chance.

The good news is that when he doesn't do any of them, the idiots will simply make all sorts of excuses and not care.

It's almost like Trump knows that...

I’m for all 11 points. Let’s add a few more:

12. Air Force to carpet bomb Cartel properties.

13. Military tribunals and Gitmo for Dem politicians and operatives that stole 2020.

14. Targeted policing of high crime areas, mandatory maximum sentences for violent and repeat felons.

15. End any government support for business or university orgs who employ DEI in any form.

Check today’s Journal ya dingus. It’s real. Now how many of those do you agree with? I see several that are legally objectionable on their face.

Many would be difficult in just 4 years due to the necessary logistics.

Item 1
- You would have to amend the Pendleton Civil Service Act. Thus, you would have to bring in the necessary legislators to provide support.

Item 3
- Two hurdles here. First, you would have to legislative amend the Impoundment Control Act of 1974. That would require the same as above. The harder item would be the USSC precedent. You would have to overrule Train v. City of New York wherein the executive branch is not allowed to overrule the clear will of Congress.

Others probably also have some hurdles. It doesn't mean that they can't be done, but there may be a greater time horizon than just one term.

Are Congressional Term limits still part of the platform?
