I'm sure mandating a political review of all scientific conclusions will make things much faster

If it relates to his policies, I have no problem with it going through his staffers for approval. Having a dept head stating a policy view that doesn't match the administration would be undermining the executive.

What information was the EPA releasing the past 8 years that the white house was not aware of?

EPA is large bloated and is full of leftists.

The goal of the EPA today is not clean air and water.

It is instead socialism anti-capitalism and the elimination of private property rights.

So trumps staff will see the scientific news before it is public and make a fortune on insider information.

Seems sound.

I don't want our government to peddle unproven theories as facts.

They are bound by much more than the sitting president.

You realize the EPA is Trump's staff, right?

No it's not, it's just twisting an agency to spout propaganda that suits your needs and censor what you want censored. Turning what shouldn't be political (other side is guilty too) into something political. Convince yourself otherwise though, fight that good fight.

Again...this is not an independent scientific company.

They work for HIM.

You think this is anything new? You think the EPA was just releasing shite left and right that wasn't approved by Obama.

Ya'll are extremely stupid.

The only reason he is capable of doing that is because the organization is filled with Leftists acting on their political beliefs

Then clean them out, Josh. I'm not disagreeing with you on that point.

Hell, just shutter the entire agency (probably your preference) if the boss can't trust its conclusions. Or replace those that produce the data. But the OP is the worst fix, IMO.

I'm not being flip, but I honestly don't understand what people here even think they are arguing.

They are a member of the Executive Branch. The President is their boss.

I'm not sure what you don't understand about this.
