Will he have any scientists on his political staff?

Remind me to never work as his IT guy.

They are an appendage of the Executive Branch. Not an independent company. This should always be the case.

If "political staff" is not independent peer scientists, it's a major crock of shite. This is not Russia, Trumpy.

Why?

Again, they exist at the behest of the Executive.

So, in theory, the executive branch should have editing control of scientific data from one of its "appendages"?

Are you guys hearing yourself?

Climate change is 90% hyperbole, IMO, but this is idiotic, terrible precedent.

What is this going to affect? What sort of information do people think the EPA should be independently releasing (or that are currently releasing) that you foresee being curtailed by this mandate, so as to adversely affect the American public?

This! Even a troll can be right sometimes.

Don't fund and order studies that don't interest you, fine. But you can't create a policy to scrub results before the data is released. At least not without looking like frauds.
