This was one tough mujahideen, right there - killed one, presumably unarmed, woman, attacked another. The first man he encountered during the attack killed him.

Possibly. The link shows pictures of the suspect that appear to be former prison photos. Prisons are breeding grounds for muslim conversions.

this woman lost her head...I think if people saw what a man with a kitchen knife can leave in his wake, they'd probably stop concerning themselves with "gun violence" as opposed to violence

Maybe he was fired for trying to convert people to Islam while on the clock.
Are you guys really trying to claim it's illogical to infer that the beheading component of the crime had something to do with Islam?
And why is that? Why would 30 year old Alton Nolen feel compelled to not just kill but behead his former co-worker?
So far he hasn't done anything to show he is crazier than his brothers in ISIS or the Taliban.
