If someone has such severe mental problems that they have to be on pharmaceutical compounds to get thru the day without "snapping", smoking pot is not going to help.

So marijuana possession should be as bad as robbing an atm? Every time they arrest people for robbery in the crime briefs they always have weed on them too

Cheetos stampedes at the Circle K don't count. I have never seen the stats you refer to.

I enjoy weed....regularly
I have a "good job"
I've not killed any kids....yet
I don't even care that much about legalization. I get all I want and will continue enjoying it.

The problem with that, in part, is the implication that its one vs the other. The drunks would just have an easier time continuing to get drunk and stoned on 18% THC. It seems to be more of a reality vs ideological concept argument.

I agree that it shouldn't be legal, because more kids would be exposed to it earlier. However if it was legal we could regulate marijuana and hopefully get these addicts into treatment sooner

Does speeding cause a lot of accidents? Almost everyone speeds by driving over 55 or 65 or 75mph. That's just human nature. That said, would there be more speeding accidents if those same people were stoned and speeding?
Since states like Colorado have legalized recreational pot use, have there been more traffic accidents from being stoned? Asking for a friend.

Plus the elephant in the room is that alcohol isn't really dangerous or addictive and is good for you in moderation. Weed is bad for your lungs at best and is highly addictive and causes psychosis at worst
