On the contrary I think Muslims could learn much more from Christians. They might start with The Golden Rule.

Doesn't work for Muslims...

Suicide bombers are already doing unto others as they would have them do unto themselves.

He's got it backwards.

Islam is the home of intolerance.

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
That's a good one and something all people should learn and live.

This is a far cry from the "tolerance" proposed by the left in our society, though. Tolerance as Jesus taught was being kind and loving (obeying God's law towards a person) to people you disagree with. The modern view of tolerance is acceptance of ideas or behaviors, even to the point of moral acceptance. Jesus taught us to be forgiving towards those who hurt us, but He also taught that those who hurt us should repent and do good.

Yes, the texts that the Bible verse you quoted were based upon. What is so incredulous?

i think my favorite quote is: "narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."

when most of you pass through the pearly gates, jesus will say 'i never knew you'

because you're shitty people that don't embody what he taught

how about the two great commandments? Love thy God. Love they Neighbor. You can't love thy God if you don't love thy neighbor.

Always a great place to start. The second is impossible without the first.

Bible wasn't written 2,000 years ago. And was most likely written in Greek in its most early iterations if not the first. I'm not religious and even I know that

Not exactly, but I do agree with you in principle, though. There are a lot of people who profess to be Christians because they walked an isle and said a prayer when they were younger, or because they were baptized as infants, or because they think they are good people and go to church on occasion, but these same people then live lawless lives, indulging in whatever sinful desires they have with no regard to what God has commanded of His people.

The Bible is clear that only those who have a saving faith and trust in Jesus Christ as their savior from the penalty their sins deserve will be saved. Those with such saving faith will be sanctified (set apart for a holy purpose by God by the continual removal of sin from the body) throughout their lives and love and appreciate God's law and become conformed to the image of Christ in obedience.

What this looks like is a life of repentance of sin, understanding that our sin is offensive to God and detrimental to our relationships with Him and with others. Those who do not show fruits of the spirit (which manifest themselves in how we act) are not displaying evidence of a true, saving faith. Faith without works is dead, and that means if you have true faith, it will be evidenced by your obedience to the law which is manifested through "good works". Conversely, if you do not do good works, it is an evidence that you do not have saving faith.

There will be a lot of people who called on the name of the Lord while they were alive who will be cast into darkness, separated from God, on the day of judgment.
