Pensions, SSI, Medicare, Medicaid. Not to mention low cost of education. Must be nice. What are the odds the younger generations will have any of these benefits when we're 60/70? Or are the rest of us just getting stuck with the bills?

I routinely talk to boomers that are pulling in 50k+/year just in pensions. That is insane.

People like to shite on millennials, but boomers are far worse. They're the reason the country is in the shitter to begin with.

The thought of not having medicaid when we're 70+ is damn scary. Nursing home costs are 96k+/year.

I should revise my statement. There were lots of good boomers who were of much higher quality than most of the younger generation.

But there was a contingent of Boomers that gave us what we have today -- a shitty entitled cuck millennial generation.

You and your wife taught in Virginia for 20 years? Here's a nice little 80k yearly pension for the both of you for the rest of your life. Oh? You need insurance, too? Let's just toss that in there. How about some SSI? Sure thing. Don't have enough for the nursing home costs because you used an irrevocable trust? Ok, we'll pay the 96k per year.

My grandfather is from the generation before the boomers. He retired at the age of 50 from the police force (chief of detectives) and has been living a good life off of a pension for 35 years now. I have no idea how much it pays, but he has a nice house and my grandmother has always driven nice cars.

I don't think I'll see things like that.
