How do you have a discussion with such people?
I made a thread a while ago (last year or before) where I attempted to have a discussion about government healthcare with an ex gf who is a leftist journalist in nyc now.
I was trying to discuss the financial impact of government healthcare in the country and how the most conservative estimates place the costs at around $45T over tirst 10 years, which is more per year than the entire US budget.
Her response: “frick your money.”
Me: “What do you mean frick the money?”
Her: “I mean frick your money. I don’t care what it costs.”
Me: “But you can’t just say frick the money. There has to be a realistic and...”
Her: “You’re not listening to me. frick. Your. Money. Period.”
