The Liberal leaders have never been against being in bed with big corporations. Most large corporations have been run by democrats for a long time. The rank and file liberal, however, has always, and still believes that the Democrats are for the poor and they’re too dumb to ignore what they say and look what they do. A series of feelgoodisms that do not help the poor at all, and fact, generally end up hurting them.

I own a couple sandwich franchises. If I had to double my labor cost I would be breaking even/losing money. The only way I survive is to instantly raise the price of my product by $2.00 a sub.

SOME companies need to be force to pay at least 15$ hour minimum wage ... not EVERY company of course... I work in the construction business... some of these assholes paying 10$ a hour to people doing important shite.. that you might not deem important... but I’ve seen million dollar homes and commercial businesses built like shite because the employer won’t invest in good employees..,

They cant because they are only worth $10 per hr. This is why minimum wage is stupid and harmful. People are paid what they are worth.

No they usually do find something else that pays more... which in turn makes the company hire another guy with less experience for 10$ to work on million dollar projects... the customer is basically getting fricked over in this equation... because said construction companies are putting a less skilled worker on the job... instead of investing in the employee ... I’m only talking about the construction business here...

Raising it $2 won't cut it, you would be basically subsidizing those businesses with income generated in your other ventures or career.

In San Diego some restaurants put a minimum wage tax on your check. There the inflation is actually broken out.
