I'd have to see a head count before I subscribed to this belief...

This is not surprising at all given how far from reality Dems are.

Religion is weaved into culture and indeed a tool to galvanize the masses. It's a dangerous one that takes away the moral qualms about murder because you're killing for the glory of God who will reward it.

Considering the environment on the ground, being weary of Muslims from the Arab world makes sense. It's just important to include the history and culture that allow it to be such a dangerous tool.

Does that absolve the idea of anything?

That's organized religion perhaps to some degree, but not Christianity. When you refer to that which founds the two very different faiths the truth comes out. Christ in no way shape or form tells His followers that they will be rewarded for killing for the glory of God. He says "Those who live by the sword will die by the sword." His Kingdom is made up of believer's hearts, which is where the kingdom resides, and is not of this world. Islam on the other hand teaches conquest by that very sword Christ speaks against, and it's kingdom is a carnal kingdom that forces people to be subjected to it's many rules and regulations. Christ taught that nobody can save, or draw sinners to salvation but God drawing them, and once decision has come upon them, it's completely up to them to accept or reject it, which they can do either, but neither action will result in a kingdom being established on this planet. That's what the Zealots desired in Israel and they completely missed the boat on what Christ was saying and offering them, which was much more precious than some earthly kingdom.

So in short, Christ does not reside in buildings, or need a kingdom on this planet. Islam does. Christ moves in the hearts of men to convert them. Islam relies upon rules, regulations, fear, and force to expand its earthly kingdom. Earthly kingdoms can kill the body, but can NEVER rule the heart unless that person decides to surrender it to them to save their body.

But, seriously....frick ALL RELIGION IN THE HAIR a-hole!!!

And, y'all think I am fricking around when I say this...but am grave-yard serious. JESUS WAS BLACK!!!

Black??? That's news to me. I always assumed he would have been either Arabic or Persian. Because he came from those areas, not central or southern Africa. Most of northern Africa is Arabic. Egyptians and Libyans do not look black. And the people who live in Israel, Jordan, and Syria are a mixture of Arabs and Persians.

Thanks for the pro tip! I did not know he was black.

A charismatic leader can twist the holy book if any faith to their needs and wants.

I'm not trying to equate the practice and tenants of faiths here. I think most can agree that there exists a more worldly and political focus in Islam that makes it very useful as a political driver. All I'm trying to do is connect history and culture to how Islam is understood and used by the various groups over there. Understanding Islamic terrorism better needs the additional context.

I hate religions equality and I'm a conservative.

Edt: What makes non religious Dems and the religious Republicans? My friends and I are mostly prochoice and atheists but are very much conservatives.

You know, how Christmas saved our everlasting souls by not doing shite in the old testament.

You seemed to imply it because "at least it wasn't this or that." That's why I asked the question.

Agree.

Modern day Christianity has ruined itself on multiple fronts. Ignoring their past and becoming too soft with no consequences.

Abortion clinics have prevented the birth of 55 million Americans? Is that what you're asking?
