I heard him talking about it yesterday on his show. He ranks the food and lists the prices.

One of my favorites, that I'll likely miss this year. I doubt I'll make it down to the Aquarium.

Hit dem pepper jelly livers up last year. I too stay away from that area since I homebase out of the Charters/Madison area. It wasn't bad to get to from Canal street. It was one of the 1st vendors near the street.

Save yourself the trouble of the crowds and just order them at Mid City Yacht Club.

Served on a paper boat similar to this

Lightly floured and grilled. They're great, and they load them up.

Learn something new every day.

I'm looking at the Vaucresson Sausage Co. hot sausage poor boy in Jackson Square. Old Fitz says it's a can't miss.

I actully wish some places would get creative and start serving new items. Keep the classics but 86 the slow movers for something new.

I'll call you Friday when I'm out there. I'll be in the Falcons flatbill and Chalmette Reeboks.

The best thing at FQF to me is the stuffed chicken wing from NOLA. Apparently an old Vietnamese lady comes in every day and makes them, so you know it's good.

One of the best offerings at FQF imo.. I like the chicken sausage. I always get the Oysters bon femme from Antoines, and the baked Alaska. They pull the Alaska off well, given the sweltering heat that usually accompanies FQF. Great way to cool off.

haven't looked at Fitzmorris' food guide yet, but I downloaded the FQF app yesterday and looked over the vendors/foods. Here's what I want to try:

Rue 127-Deep fried cupcake and/or pulled pork mac & cheese tots
Three Muses-Bulgogi poboy with Feta Fries
Haydels-white chocolate kingcake bread pudding
Muriels-crawfish and goat cheese crepes
Lakeview Harbor-crawfish bread
Charcoal's Gourmet Burger Bar-alligator corndog
Westin-Truffle parmesan cracklin'
Boucherie-krispy kreme bread pudding

ETA: looking at the nomenu.com website, they have a couple of additions the app doesn't have:

Crêpes A La Cart Jackson Square
Tomato, Basil & Mozzarella Crêpe $7 (V)
Black & Gold (Nutella & Banana) Crêpe $7 (V)

Jacques-Imo’s Jackson Square
Shrimp & alligator sausage cheesecake $6 [G]
