I guess the temperature, humidity, amount of water in the ponds, gas prices, groundhog seeing his shadow, etc, have all come into perfect alignment.

I guess that whole supply and demand thing does work with crawfish too.

Getting three sacks in about an hour for 2.79/lb. I was expecting them to be higher. First I've had this season.

Ummm... No they don't.

Sure, their the same creature, but poor quality control in processing with Chinese product.

I've had some nasty, fishy tasting chinese crawfish.

Where are they plummeting? Still over $4 today.

Just got some at Bevi for $4.29.

Got some from Bobby's last week at $4.59.

Hopefully the rest of the markets will drop prices by next week, but at 11:30 they had people calling and lots picking up so they might think they can keep prices high out in River Ridge area.

I'm part of the problem buying some 2 weeks in a row.

Agreed. We have boiled crawfish in southeast Asia however, and rice paddy crawfish taste just like spillway crawfish.
