Hopefully the rest of the markets will drop prices by next week, but at 11:30 they had people calling and lots picking up so they might think they can keep prices high out in River Ridge area.

Screw river ridge, just got to westwego seafood market. It'll be cheaper and fresher.

The place I usually get them in Houston had live $1.88 pound this past week. Probably bunch on tiny arse ones though.

At the Publix here in Charlotte, they have whole boiled crawfish (labeled "previously frozen") for $4.99 a pound at the fish department (where the "fresh fish" is located by the butcher). Not peeled or anything. Kind of blew my mind. If I'm not buying live, they better be peeled.

That's weird. I usually buy live and boil but when I buy boiled I never buy or expect peeled. The only time I buy peeled is for cooking.
