Yes, I trimmed before seasoning. BTW, I just splashed some Allegro, sea salt, and fresh ground pepper on them and hit a very hot green egg for a few minutes. ...not very creative, but if it ain't broke ... 2013 Black Saint Peter Zin Balsamic Vinegar, avocado, artichoke heart, cucumber salad ...

I have a DeWalt trimmer, as well as drill, bit driver, etc. so plenty of batteries and chargers. It kicks ass, is quiet, and don't have to fool w gas/oil, pull starts, and all the other BS...

We're total foodies, but based on tourney schedule we may be limited. We're adventurous and take a "when in Rome" approach. We also like ethnic stuff. We don't worry about $ when it comes to food....

I have friends and family that dump a whole industrial size jar... I'm talking Sam's Club size... in the pot when thy kill the heat, for the 20 minute soak. Surprisingly, it doesn't really make them too spicy....
