They have two bars, one is the alcohol bar that you can eat at, and the other is sort of an oyster bar. I'll end up at either one of those when I'm there alone. I would highly recommend a reservation, although I usually go mid afternoon and practically have the whole place to myself. They're open all day.

I take it the first pic was the spiced lamb from Butcher?

reservations

U can likely get a seat at the bar depending on when u go, but if you know you are going - I highly recommend getting one. Why wouldnt you?

We will be there next week. Can you just walk in and find a place at the bar to eat on a week night....Wed or Thurs? Or should I get reservations?

Wednesday will be the first show in the Wednesday at the square spring line up. If the weather is nice Id suggest you and the lady ride over to Peche before the show starts at 5. Grab some food then head over to the square for the show. Marc Broussard is playing which probably in not your thing but still worth checking out on a nice night.

I'd get reservations but you can walk in right when they open and be seated no problem.

Me too. Check out the plaque that's hanging in the corner by the oyster bar. Ask him about it. The guy rocks.

Thanks for all the great responses.

I'm going with another guy who is in town for business, but it's casual. We have known each other a while and gotten shitty together more than once. We both like to eat well, so that helps.

We'll definitely get the whole fish of the day and possibly the Crudo. The steak tartar and spicy chopped shrimp sounds enticing and I would have never ordered wings with white BBQ without a recommendation.

We'll have to do a few raw oysters, for sure.

I've never been and have been wanting to go for some time now. Looking forward to it.

Thanks. Will probably get reservations like we did last time. But may want to hit it a second time depending on which way the wind blows. May check out Marc Broussard for a minute but not my type music and certainly not my wife's type.

Same thing I said. It is thighs on a stick with white bbq and it is delectable.

I don't see anything resembling a flat, bottom dwelling fish in that picture.
