Im seeing little places like this pop up frequently like its a trend. this one only cost 22k to build and its a non stationary dwelling, as the alabama elite would say. but i can see this as everone is defending mother earth from cigarettes and hair spray .the power bill has to be like 25 bucks a month

Im sure youd wantf a 15hp bath fan so you dont have to visit relatives every time your wife takes a crap.but i could definitely see it with wifi and free range poultry

Anyone have any other good examples

If you're away for most of the time, I guess it would be ok. For me, I think the novelty would wear off quickly.

Probably couldn't cohabitate with someone in that small of a space, but I could do it alone easily, as long as I have plumbing, electricity, and internet.

Would be badass to own and travel with, but I ain't living in that with my wife. Need more "me time" than that would allow i.e. playing Trivia Crack for 20 minutes on the shitter and drinking scotch while watching Veep reruns after she goes to bed.

That's quite a large purse he's got himself hanging there in his closet.

nope, I couldn't personally do it. Id rather spend more and have a bigger place. Its a cool concept for hipsters and poors.

I could live there but like someone said I would have to be out of the house a lot of the time.

Alone, yes.

With someone else, that could be really really good or really really bad.

I would give up some of the "living space" for a bigger "bedroom", but other than that I could go solo in something like that easily.

Happiness isn't attained by square footage or number of bathrooms. It's attained by destroying enemies and exploiting those weaker than you.

So yeah, I could be happy in a place like that assuming that I fricked my nemesis' widow out of it in a shady land grab.

Seems like a great temp solution while you build a vacation property. I'd gladly take one on some land in North Georgia for weekend trips, but I wouldn't live there.

Hell I'm doing it right now. My apartment's only 480 square feet.

Yeah, I'm far from poor. Just don't believe in paying for space I don't absolutely need.

I spend half my life living in similar spaces working on the road and I am neither a hipster nor poor

Nah, not enough window treatments to keep passersby from catching me jerkin off.

Not when you're young but as a person gets older they want less to see about.

Big yards = more grass cutting, etc.

22k sounds like way too much money for a souped up sea can

No I could not.

However, I'm getting to the point of my life where I am considering downsizing in the not so distant future. I like watching the Tiny Houses show because it gives some unique ideas on how to do more (mostly storage) with less space.

When we do downsize (to 1300-2000 sq ft) I'd like to use some of the things I've seen on the show to maximize our space.
