Will we get a retraction from Fox/Rush/TD.com poli board for their shortsighted and ultimately moronic criticism of Obama's handling of Putin over the past year? Or will you just move on to the next made up fear mongering nonsense instead?

Has Russia given Crimea back to Ukraine? Has Russia stopped assisting the rebels in eastern Ukraine? Does the rest of eastern Europe no longer worry about Russia invading them?

I was talking about this a few hours ago. Whether he deserves all the credit or not, Obama has put Putin on life support. Gotta give him some credit.

I guess you're not familiar with the crippling sanctions that have destroyed their economy?

It's impressive how hard it is for some on here to be fair. There are plenty of legitimate things to criticize Obama about, this was never one of them.

You fricking liberal idiot.

All Russia crumbling is going to do is take our economy down with it, set Russia up as desperate which might make them use nukes or other forms of war to strike back at America.

China is in cahoots with Russia and when they sell off the 1.25 trillion in treasury bonds our economy is going to tank via higher interest rates.

Keep thinking the global economy isn't interconnected.

Liberals know nothing about money or economical interchanges.

This is mostly of Putin's doing. They have huge systemic problems:

1) Population decline
2) Eastern Russia identifying more with China
3) Radical Muslims in Caucasus
4) Corruption
5) Stagnant economy

The modest sanctions imposed on Putin probably helped, but that doesn't mean Obama couldn't have done more. At the very least, he should have supplied the Ukrainians with arms and money to repel the Russian invasion.
