Has Obama ridden a horse with his shirt off?

Has he earned a black belt?

Has he turned into a white man?

No? Then he's a huge pussy .

Besides the inherently flawed premise of reducing something extremely complicated to a single causal element (President Obama's actions), the evidence at the very least, points to other economic factors (falling gas prices) being a major contributor. Even then, I don't think there is enough evidence to so strongly evaluate Russia and its future.

So basically this is either a dishonest or ignorant argument (or both).

So, to clarify, if something bad is happening, it's all Obama's fault. But if something that could be considered good is happening, then he didn't really have anything to do with it and it's a complicated, multifaceted situation.

That about cover it?

You're being pretty dishonest. His post is spot on.

All of the liberal posters on this board just seem so friggin' angry and sarcastic all the time. Maybe it's just a reaction to being surrounded by conservatives.

How is that any different than any of his other posts?
He gave credit to Obama then responded to Russian with essentially "it's too early to tell". Not too early to give the credit to Obama though lol

I was trying to give him a chance since he apparently hates Russian. DC's last post was the only reason he made the OP.

My OP is taking the same attitude that the critics of Obama were taking on this issue 7 months ago. If you want to give him all the blame for things that go bad then you have to give him credit when they go well. Most Obama critics are completely incapable of doing that, which is what this thread is all about.

If the criticisms of Obama were fair and measured, this kind of thread wouldn't be necessary.

Sanctions appear to be working. It was a good policy decision. I admit that.

Nevertheless, Russia straight up invaded and occupied parts of Ukraine, a sovereign European country. I think the ideas many expressed at the time and continue to express were and are a lot more than "fear mongering nonsense."

I'm not trying to make a wrong or a right. I'm just holding the poli board up to a mirror in the hopes of showing it how badly it looks to everyone else.

So according to your logic, your OP is full of shite since it's taking "the same attitude" as the stupid Obama critics.

Solid thread.

Who is it that views the poli board so badly and why should I care?

As they should be; however, are you likening the decline of the Russian economy strictly based on Barry's sanctions?

If so,

Proper phrasing of this is "Bush did it first!".

As I just explained, the purpose of my OP has nothing to do with the actual situation in Russia or what did/did not cause it.

No when Bush did it he took out a credit card and charged over a trillion dollars for an Iraq invasion that was completely bogus from the word go.

The so called "fiscal conservatives" cheered him on. The same people who today lose their minds over poor people being allowed food stamps.

I must have missed Princess Soetoro's retraction for his mocking dismissal of Romney's characterization of Russia as a geopolitical foe. The dimwittted lapdogs of the media were beside themselves over the Princess' "the 1980s called, they want their foriegn policy back", remark.

Romney has pretty clearly been proven right.
