Too bloated to think about that now. Some of the kids arrived late, surprise surprise, so we didn't get to eat until late. I then thought I wanted a piece of poot root pie, mistake

I tried catfish with a tempura batter. Didn't work after the first two pieces so I switched back to my normal cornmeal batter. Those came out great. Lucy will eat all of them tomorrow with two cups of ketchup. She doesn't actually eat the ketchup. She just puts globs of it on her plate. It's her quirky thing.

Took the other half of catfish and did a broil. Came out OK...lot's of salt and pepper taste. That will be my sammich tomorrow.

Then I did a big French Onion Soup. Alton Brown's recipe seemed high on number of onions. I used 5 instead of 6. Alton was right. Even big onions reduce with high heat. Will use 7 next time.

The dogs had leftover rice and gravy with chicken. They said it was excellent.

Two quarts of water. I had more salt today than I usually eat in a week. My lips are salt chapped something awful.

Turkey less roast, mashed sweets and red potatoes, green beans, mushroom onion sage gravy and pumpkin pie.

Luckily I didn't eat too much earlier to spoil the rest of my day

Had a traditional Thanksgiving lunch at a friend's earlier, but it was a little later in the day so I'm not crazy hungry yet. Drinking Jameson on the rocks and heating up some shrimp and corn soup. Pumpkin pie for dessert a little later.

When calling said audible, was it "Omaha Omaha" or "Ho Chi Min Ho Chi Min"?
