re: Blue Bell. Done? - L Boogie
Jeni's is the best I've had
They had a booth at Austin Food & Wine last year and I was working the bar tent right next to them. I think I ate more ice cream in those two days than I did the entire rest of the year...and it was FREE :nana: So freaking good....

re: Where to eat in Gruene, TX? - L Boogie
Also, Gruene Hall is beer only, but Mozie's across the street is a great spot to grab a pre or post show cocktail or three. The Reckless Kelly boys drank them out of Jameson once but JJW doesn't party so there will probably be some booze left ...

re: How is the Red Dragon as a venue in BR? - L Boogie
I've never been, but I've heard it's fantastic. Small, intimate not-for-profit listening room. All ticket sales, donations, etc. go straight to the artists. John Fullbright has mentioned more than once that it is his dream venue. I went to school with the owner's kids, and they are a great fami...

re: Good news for Turnpike Troubadours fans - L Boogie
It's been a long time coming. I love those guys but I quit going to shows because there was no new material. A few are from their first album and being rerecorded (Bossier City and Easton & Main) but I'm excited to hear the new stuff....
