Going to check it out tomorrow night. I've heard good things. Any recommendations? What's the attire there?

Very casual. The crudo and whole fish dishes are great. If you like oysters, have at 'em.

Anything from the raw bar will be a winner.

Brussel sprouts as a side. They're outstanding.

Tuna off of the raw bar is fantastic. Lamb skewers and Royal Reds are great.

Attire is casual, in that you wouldn't be out of place in jeans and a button down.

For me at least, a near perfect meal at Peche would be:
Cocktail or bottle of Rose or both
Dozen raw (3 each from LA, Dauphin Island, and Massachusetts)
Fried bread
Royal Reds
Shrimp and Fontina croquettes
Crudo of the day
Whatever pasta is on offer
Lamb skewers
Caramel Layer Cake

Sounds great minus the fish sticks. You just don't go the Peche to get fish sticks, imo.

I went Tuesday night. Get the whole redfish, its outstanding. Cauliflower gratin was equally great.

You'll be alright. The chef's wife is a huge Bama fan, along with the rest of her tribe.

You haven't had them, have you? That's what Donald Link does, excels on cheap, common, comfort foods. My history with fish sticks were the forbidden, brick-like objects from school cafeterias. Peche's fish sticks are a beer-battered fish & chips-like cut with a homemade tartar. They're money.

Ha...that's putting it mildly. The chef's wife's family are close friends of mine.
