The only ones that I normally buy are white shoepeg and baby laseurs with onion and mushrooms. Obsessed with both.

I'll get canned tomatoes at times but I think that is very common.

Le Sueurs forever!

And yes, canned San Marzanos only. If they don't have San Marzanos, I switch stores. They're better than tomatoes from the produce section.

I do at times but frozen are so much better. If you must, add a dab of grey poupon mustard when heating. Really takes the canned taste out

I keep a nice selection in the pantry.

red, white, black, and green beans.
corn
carrots
sweet, field, and black eyed peas.
new potatoes
tomato products

My first choice is fresh, then frozen, then canned.

The cans are most often used mid-week when I don't put as much planning into meals.

Canned veggies are very useful. No hate here.

No canned vegetables in my pantry for quite some time. I try to go to the fruit stand once a week for everything

I buy the canned baby green peas because my daughter loves them.

Other than that, no.

When I do buy canned veggies, I try to get low salt/ no salt versions. Green beans,la Seuer, sometimes corn, olives, mushrooms, occasional asparagus.

Pretty good list MD. I don't eat a lot of can vegtables but will use them in some stuff if need be. We try to put up as many vegtables as possible when they're ready. Canned vegtables weren't ever supposed to be better than fresh, and they're not. But let whole foods run out of haricot verts and they'll gain a lot of favor. Refusal to make something without San Marzano tomatoes is as impractical as it is stupid. Plenty of knockout meals have been formed by people who had no clue what they were. And I'm a fan of the things and recognize their goodness.

I just looked. I have sugar, flour, and grits. So yes. There's also some green chile sauce that a friend brought me from New Mexico.

The zombie apocalypse will not serve me well. Unless booze counts?
