I read that his autobiography in 1988 sort of led to the NCAA investigation that led to Switzer's downfall. Who knows if that's revisionist history or not.

Can't wait to see this documentary, though.

He was the most dominant LB for 2 years. That OU defense in 85 made people quit

It had Migliazo at ILB, Tony Casillias at Nose, Ricky Dixon at CB.

CFB being my favorite sport I've loved all the CFB-related 30 for 30s. They had an interview on Sportscenter with him last week and it seems like the documentary is going to be about how Brian the man became Boz the character (they passingly referenced how the same thing has occurred to Manziel to Johnny Football) I think it'll be a good documentary on what happens when kids get turned into superstars before they can even drink.

Their '86 team was arguably better. They had 5 shutouts and had games where they put up 63, 56, 64 and 77 points, and they put 42 on the Hogs in the Orange Bowl.

He was a fantastic recruiter and great at adapting to the game - I think he would have done well.

In terms of "what ifs," I always wish that Chuck Fairbanks would not have left Oklahoma for the Patriots and that he would have stayed a few more years and Switzer would have come home to Arkansas after Broyles retired in '76. Switzer was on local radio a few years ago and someone asked if Broyles ever offered him the job -- interestingly, he said Broyles tried to offer it to him when he retired after the '76 season but he turned him down because he knew he had a really good freshman class in Billy Sims a few other guys I can't remember.

Hiring Ken Hatfield over Jimmy Johnson will always be Hog fans' number one "what if."

One of my dad's best friends worked on those Oklahoma teams as a grad assistant. My dad always asks him why the football team needed an accountant.

Anyway, Boz and him are still good friends. He says he's a really good dude. My favorite Boz story, which I'm sure the 30 for 30 will cover, is when he sold those anti-Boz shirts anonymously when he was in the NFL.

$150,000... nice
