or be forced to resign. But the window of opportunity seems to be closing. I'm beginning to get tired of the NFL. It's nothing more that a typical American corporation hell bent on earning as much money as possible, as quick as possible, and by exploiting as many as possible in the process.

He's certainly not going to step down. No amount of humiliation would make me leave a gig that net me 44 million. He will have to be forced out. Owners only care about the bottom line. Unless Sponsors ramp up the pressure, wont happen.

I'm not sure it's over yet.

Reporters are still digging. The timing of the AP report before kickoff thursday was something.

Is there anything you can possibly think of that would make you willingly walk away from 44 millions dollars?

He'll step down, or be fired soon. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is October and it will look good leaving at that time.

I can hope....

hmmm also sounds strikingly like College football except in college all the teams don't have an equal shot at being a champion

Hypocrite - suspends Sean with the tag, "He is the head coach, the #1 guy in the organization & should know everything that is happening inside the team". Really ?
This is far from over IMO.

Why should he resign? He did not hit the girl. He did not condone or approve it, Was against the hitting and dragging. He suspended him 2 games, maybe should have been 6. He did not hit the girl. looks like good enough punishment. He did no crime. The American solder in Texas 3 years ago killed someone, should Obama resign.

Someone should shoot at him, "You should be more aware of who's working for you and had a hold of the videos you needed to see to determine your suspension of a player."

Isn't that the same?

He turned a blind eye to an act that is AGAINST the same rules and regulations that every player must abide by set by him and his people.

He's the one that was responsible for handing down the sentence based off the action and failed to do so. He claimed ignorance because he didn't see the video (lets be honest, he saw it. We all know he saw it) and chose to do his friend a favor by only suspending his star player 2 games as opposed to 6-8.

Roethlisberger did less to a woman and got 6 games, just a fyi.

Your comparison to this situation and Obama/soldier has NOTHING in common.

Maybe if Obama pardoned him after watching the video, the video gets leaked, and then Obama orders his execution and says he didn't see the video.

Would you resign from 44M/year?

Part of his job is to be a human shield for the owners.

no resign, no quit, nothing.

He'll be the commissioner for a long time and in fact, he will get a contract extension.

This may be coming sooner than later, the owners are scheduled for their normal October meeting at the beginning of next week.
