re: Former Tulane WR Jujuan Dawson missing - lsutigers1992
Dawson, David Butler, Pete Burks, Kennie Maryland, and Silas Payne were the last wave of great players to come out of Houma. The early 90s was the last time high school football was relevant in Terrebonne Parish. Butler was the best, but Dawson was the fastest. I saw him many times. Thoughts go ...
Does any baseball fan with half a brain know to interfere only with the opposing team going into the stands? Yes.
Any self-aware human whose team is that close to the World Series gets out of the way. That's not popular, but that's a fact. ...

re: players vote JJ Watt best player in NFL - lsutigers1992
You knew Watt would be number one. The NFL hype machine has been consistent with this guy for at least a year. They were going to make sure he won even if he didn't. That being said, I think he's top three. I don't know if he's number one. I don't watch the show anymore and I don't care enough t...

re: Keith Olbermann is leaving ESPN - lsutigers1992
This has been out for days. Speculation in some of the other articles I read over the weekend (I believe one came from the Hollywood Reporter) was that ESPN wanted him to stop being mean to Roger Goodell and he refused....

re: Monday Morning After a Great Weekend in Sports: ESPN AND ESPN 2 show Tennis - lsutigers1992
What you're (probably) missing if SportsCenter came on today: 1. First half of show: all women's soccer 2. 10 minute analysis of Tiger's 34th place finish 3. 10 minute breakdown of Knicks free agency 4. 5 minutes of Yankees highlights 5. 5 minute update on JPP's hand The end....

re: Have you ever shed tears because of a sporting event? - lsutigers1992
I cried like a baby in 1983 when the Rams beat the Saints on the Lansford FG on the final play of the season. The Saints missed their first playoff berth and after a couple of other games ended the Rams made the playoffs. I was 13 and I thought after that day they were cursed and would never mak...

re: Most unlikely final play of games? - lsutigers1992
Sure it does. It ended the tournament. I can't remember if Tway in 86 ended the PGA or if he did it on 17.
I wanna say it ended it. In both cases I think Norman went from up and down to win or tie to missing the putt and losing....

re: Most unlikely final play of games? - lsutigers1992
Does Larry Mize's shot at The Masters qualify as a "play?" I mean, if he just makes the green and 2-putts as expected, Greg Norman wins outright. If he miraculously gets it close and one-putts, they move to the next hole....
