re: Is Bob Beckel fired from The Five AGAIN? - TupeloTiger
I have been off a lot lately due to illness and have been watching The Five. To me, Beckel has been mean and negative. He gets on my nerves this time around. He's been a condescending smart ass. I don't enjoy him this time. I hope he's gone. Juan Williams is better as the Liberal, but he just repea...

re: Sunday night news hit piece after hit piece - TupeloTiger
The budget we are under now is the Obama budget. Trumps budget has not passed and become law yet. It's Impossible for Trump to cut it. The Senate has not passed it and it will be for next year anyway. Does the media think the public is that dumb. Trump should fight back on this. ...

re: Let's talk about military spending - TupeloTiger
I am the grown son of a retired Air Force bomber pilot of WW2, Korea, and early Viet Nam. My dad often said the leftover buildings, bases, etc. of WW2 could all be cut. All a waste now from the Pacific and Western Europe, England, etc. It's all the Middle East now, not Japan, Phillipines, Guam, and ...

re: Global Temperature Question - TupeloTiger
When I was a Senator in the 80's, I was invited to an all day meeting at the Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg about Global Warming. Edwin Edwards, Bennett Johnston, and Otto Passman were also there. We were told that it was no big deal, nothing to worry about. One degree warming every 50 years, not a ...

Who is his dad. I live in Tupelo now, 16 miles from Pontotoc. My wife went to State, might have known his dad. I'll call Cole Smith and tell him all about LSU and Baton Rouge, where I was in the 80's....

re: I just finished watching the Revolutionary War mini series. - TupeloTiger
It's on the American History Channel and repeats every 4 or 5 months or so. It's great. It ought to be shown in the schools every Friday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 instead of the Socialist manure taught now out of Washington from the Teachers Union. The show is great and very pro-American, Patriot...

re: Making drilling in the Gulf of Mexico great again - TupeloTiger
When I was a college student in the 70's, it was normal for a Louisiana kid to either go to college for a job and career OR you went to work in oil and gas/pipelines/ or offshore oil in the Gulf for a good living. The EPA, Obama, and Democrats killed a lot of that. It needs to be brought back 100%....

re: American Health Care Act (Obamacare Replacement) introduced - TupeloTiger
This is better than Obamacare[where we laid off 16 people to get under 50], but not the answer. I believe in a gov't contract with the states, not Washington, to provide a private health insurance policy that is mandatory and can not be turned down. The premiums for poor or middle class people to be ...

re: DHS considering separating families at border - TupeloTiger
NO,no,no, don't do that. The Democrats/Socialists/Obamas will have an issue. The USA could stop illegal immigration if they would not give them Food Stamps. Only Americans should get $600 a month in food stamps. The taxpayers pay for it....

re: Anyone noticed a decrease in the Hispanic population since Trump was elected??? - TupeloTiger
N o, the illegal immigrants are increasing where we live. They are all getting Food Stamps,EBT card about $600 a month. My store had about 20 Mexicans shopping regularly. They are friendly and speak Spanish, not English. About 5 started coming in 2 months ago, about Jan. 1st. Last week a Mexican woma...

The Russians and KGB Putin have played the Democrats like children. It's hard to believe the Dem's fell for the Putin scheming and planning. Just keep America divided and not strong again. It's all Putin's plan....

re: It is troubling that Valerie Jarrett is about to move in 2 miles from the WH - TupeloTiger
It's like Stalin getting Khrushev to move in, or Hitler getting Mussolini to move in. I really thought she would move back to Iran where she was born and raised, or at least become the Ambassador. After all she got 400 million for them in cash, nuclear bomb material, and a free hand to make the bomb...

Praised Pres. Ford and the Navy, but said he would increase the no. of ships, airplanes, technology and spending to previous levels. Would be dependable to support the military. re: More disgusting treatment of vets at VA. kill the whole system with fire. - TupeloTiger
I know what's wrong with the VA Hospitals, but there's nothing we can do as it is. The federal employee union is the problem. My wife's a hospital employee in surgery and they have studied the VA in their education and certification. The Union will not work on Saturday, Sunday, nights, and do not...

re: hundreds of non-citizens registered to vote in Ohio 82 voted - TupeloTiger
I was active in a recent election and saw 2 fraud incidents, I saw 40 Mexicans that where pre-registered to vote on 3x5 cards, vote arriving in 2 HeadStart vans driven by the Teachers Union leaders. Later that day,I saw a school van bring 15 Mexicans to vote in another precinct. I ask one guy and he...
